ATP B-44 Automatic Transmission Filter Kit

Made for a deep pan C6, wouldn't work for my factory pan.

OEM fit!

This filter is for a C-6 ford Transmission. Most gaskets for these have every bolt hole so the pan bolts are held in place inside the gasket holes....this one had only 3. I HAD TO GLUE THE GASKET IN PLACE....that really sucked, and holes did NOT LINE UP CORRECTLY with pan holes.....this made the job STUPIDLY tedious. The manufacturer needs to make a completely new die to hold ALL THE BOLTS, and line up flawlessly....so I suspect it is a low grade Chinese part. Do NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT. To top it off, I slipped while tightening my screen filter and hit the opening of the Large return hole RADIUS in the tin filtern and cut my thumb to the bone. They did NOT deburr this hole, ANDI HAD TO RUN A FILE OVER THE EDGE TO MAKE IT SAFER....IT WAS SHARPER THAN ANY RAZOR BLADE....REALLY PISSED ME OFF. FILTER SCREEN WAS NOT TIGHT WHERE WELDED....LIKE THE OTHER ONE I changed OUT. I just rebuilt the C6 about 8000 miles ago, and wanted to change the fluid and filter TO SEE if there was any debris. It was flawlessly clean, but THIS product was one I won't EVER ORDER AGAIN. THE GASKET HOLES EVEN TO HOLD THE 3 BOLTS WERE NOT CORRECT DIAMETER, AND ALMOST TOO LARGE. IF YOU LIKE GLUING YOUR GASKETS ON, THEN ITS OK, BUT STILL THE HOLES WERE WAY OFF THEIR CENTERLINES and barely fit at all....needless to say , very disappointed at this companies version of the product. NOTE TO THE MANUFACTURER: GET ON THE BALL PEOPLE, I AM AN AEROSPACE MACHINIST, AND YOU NEED TO MAKE A COMPLETELY NEW PUNCH PRESS DIE TO CUT THESE GASKETS....AND DEBURR THE LARGE HOLE THAT FACES THE PAN....I AM STILL BLEEDING TONIGHT. THE GASKET COPPER MATERIAL IS A GOOD PRODUCT, BUT.....ONLY IF YOU GET THE HOLES RIGHT AND IMPROVE YOUR FINAL PRODUCT TO REFLECT MY SUGGESTIONS AMERICAN PRODUCTS HAVE YOU BEAT BY. I WOULDN'T RATE IT EVEN 1 STAR, BUT HAD NO CHOICE FOR THIS PIECE OF CRAP PRODUCT. HEED MY WARNING FOLKS, AND BUY SOMETHING BETTER, AS MY OLD GASKET I REMOVED HAD THIS BEAT BY A MILE. THUMBS DOWN COMPLETELY👎FOR ME ON THIS ONE. PURE CA CA.

Fit like a glove

Good fit, but outer gasket was a cork screw material that crushed easily and caused leaking.

Amazing quality

This gasket is garbage. It leaked worse than the old gasket I took off. I had to go out at 9:30 at night two towns over and buy another gasket and more transmission fluid.
