Great deal!
These were purchased as " used customer return" the quality is great the price was reduced and I feel it was a very good option. One unit had very minor damage ( one grate damaged partially at very end) which will not affect it'd use for myself. They are very sturdy, heavy plastic. Nice and shallow which will be great to pour concrete around. I will buy again used or new and do recommend.

Easy to install. Finished drain looks good.
Prior to installing this channel drain, every time it rained heavy, I would get a pool of runoff water from my patio standing against my garage. To install the channel drain, I cut the patio blocks and installed 4-sections of the 39*5.7*3.1-Inch channel drain. The drain is decent quality plastic. Its rigid, but has some flex. Only 1 end cap is included with each section of channel drain. For my installation, I only used 2 end pieces. The sections of drain need to be joined together with adhesive (not included). PVC cement didn't work on this type of plastic, but hot glue worked very well, and it dries in minutes. The stainless steel grates are thick and are of very good quality. Out of the box, the grates are protected with a white vinyl tape that peels off to reveal shiny stainless steel. I took a section of the channel to my local Orange box store, and after trying everything they had for PVC fittings, I ended up using 1-1/2 Schedule 40 PVC pipe and fittings, which is a smaller diameter than I planned to use, but is sufficient for my need. My patio is already sloped towards a large planter at the edge of the patio. I dug up portions of the planter and ran the PVC pipe into the planter, out the other side, and in a trench along the back of the garage to a deep drainage pit filled with 1-inch marble stone. The finished drain looks good. I tested it with a garden hose and the drain is working properly.

Seem well made, but they don't come with instructions. Very annoying for inexperienced DIYers.
They seem well made, but they don't come with any instructions on how to connect the outlet pipes or what size pipe to use. It appears that I will need to buy a special drill bit to drill the holes for the pipes? I also assume that I'll need some sort of adhesive to connect the pipes to the drains? To get this information, I'll need to go to my local hardware store and ask them to advise me on the drill bit size, the size of pipe to use and whether or not I'll need adhesive. My hope was to connect these to 4' corrugated pipe. I can't tell if it's possible to do that, with or without adapters. I've already spent hours trying to figure out what I need to install these for a tiny project in my garden. I don't recommend these for a DIY project unless the manufacturer updates the listing to include installation instructions. These could be a good product for someone who already has experience installing drainage systems. Without instructions, these are a pain for a newbie.

No pipe will fit the openings
These openings are all odd sizes so none of the pipe at Lowe’s fit correctly. I have tried PVC schedule 40, 80, DWV, NDS brand fittings. Nothing fits. These are useless without being able to attach pipe to them.Their customer service is horrible. Even after a few messages trying to explain to them that I took the drain to the store to try to match it up with anything that would fit, they can't provide me with any recommendations on what pipe will actually fit. They just send me the same diagram shown in the product photos which doesn't show enough info to find the unique pipe size that would be required (if anyone even makes it). When I asked for more detailed measurements as to what pipe will fit, they responded: "You need to buy 55mm diameter pipes on the sides and 79mm or 91.5mm pipes on the bottom, the 40 and 80mm you are looking for won't work. Hope this can help. If you have any questions or require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us." I then asked for further clarification about those measurements since they are not really available in pipe size anywhere I could find. They replied "As soon as we received your email, we consulted with the relevant technicians. The drawing we gave you before, for example, 79 or 91.5, is actually a more accurate number. For example, 79 can be taken as 80, and 91.5 as 90, which is a more appropriate number to look for. That is, for example, like 79 ~ 91.5 of this interval, you can find this interval of the diameter of the water pipe is also possible."Don't waste your time with these even if they seem like a good price. You will not be able to find any pipe that will connect to them. Their customer service can't help and they said they can't do anything for a return, that I should contact Amazon.

Nice product
My guys installed this in a new driveway, and while they complained about having so many pieces, they got them level, poured the driveway, then cam back and removed the protective covering. They work! The only down side is that they do not have a side drain, but I worked around that by drilling a hole in one end cap and gluing a piece of PVC pipe in the hole and routed the run off away from the house.
