Very good material
It doesn't fit 300sl r129 cars, I had to weld a support screw to the towing Hinge.

Searched under year and model of car came up on list and didn’t fit
Bought it for me 2014 M6 and it did not fit in the tow hook it was to small to rock on wasted money

Did not fit wrong thread pattern
Was a little disappointed. I have to return this do the red pattern did not match on my 328d . Quality seems real good ourselves. Also may have been to close to bumper to fit but could not install fully.

Perfect for my use case
I didn't even use this as a tow hook license plate mount. I bought to just use as a standard license plate mount for my Tundra. I chose this one because it was the cheapest one available of this particular design. The holes that are in the license plate are drilled and tapped for M6x1.0 which is great. I think that the included screws are M5 since they don't thread into the holes, but rather pass through them. This is a great product for so many different use cases. It is made of aluminum so it is lightweight, but it is thick enough to be nice and sturdy.

Holds the plate out nicely
I live in a state that requires front plates. I recently had my front bumper repainted and I did not want to put holes for the license plate in it. This worked well. Be prepared to spend a few minutes tweaking the adjustments. Make sure that you have a wrench in the car that can remove it in case you ever need to install the tow hook. Also if you use car washes you may want to support the back of the plate and add a frame. I could see the brushes bending the heck out of the plate

Only this arrived in the box, where are the rest of the pieces? It can not be installed

Good quality but..
They included all the things you would need in the box but didn't come with instructions, I know this was impossible to mess up but I still wanted to see an example of how the final product was supposed to look like. But other than that it hasn't fallen off so I think it's pretty good.

The item fit perfectly. Was easy to install and looks great. Came with all the parts and pieces you might need.
