Stiebel Eltron 200068 DHX 8-2 Trend Point-of-Use Tankless Electronic Water Heater, 240V, 8000 Watts

Wasn't sure if it was large enough for my pool house so I called manufacturer. When he found out I live in Florida, it was a definite yes. It's been in use now for several months and supplies all the hot water I need.

I’m going to keep my review short, had this for 3 months now feeding my laundry and kitchen sink and dishwasher and it’s been exactly what I hoped it would be. Extremely satisfying and am ordering 2 more smaller ones for my bathrooms. Easy installation and setup.

Prior to buying this instant water heater, built in Germany, I purchased a USA brandedinstant water heater that proved to be an expensive piece of junk. Likely it was madein China. In any event that first water heater had cheap, inferior internal parts that failedafter only a few months, then leaking water all over the place where it was mounted.This German made instant water heater appears to be much better quality, I have had itinstalled for only two months so I can’t comment on its durability. Hopefully it will be good.Installation was pretty straightforward. Uses 120V or 220V depending upon which model youpurchase. It’s adjustable for how hot the water will be, starting at 108 degree F. I have mine setat 115 degrees F and that is a good setting; hot but not scalding.

Heater puts out minimal luke warm water, and if use flow reducers might as well have nothing. Turned temp all the way up, 140 makes no difference. And running 8/3 wiring to it.

This water heater works great and was really easy to install. I think the price was okay for what you get. Have no issues so far and been using for about a month.
