I've had terrible experiences in the past trimming my dogs' nails myself. They both have black nails and it was impossible to see where the quick was. The result was a bloody mess, and my dogs ended up with raptor claws.These nail trimmers area great! The build in safety guard kept me from taking too much off and they are very sharp so it was a clean quick snip! I love them.I originally bought the kit for the brush and saw the clippers as a "bonus" that I would probably never use, but the prices was so great compared to other brushes that didn't include the comb and clippers, so I decided to buy it. I'm really glad I did!The brush works great and is really easy to clean. I like that the metal bristles have the rubber tips on them. One of my dogs has sensitive skin, and she tolerates the brush well. There has been a lot less dog hair around my house since I've started using it.I highly recommend this grooming set.

Product was wrapped only in a soft packaging. The comb is completely unusable upon receiving. Wanted a replacement, but only a return option was possible which was not convenient for us. Was looking forward to this product based from the good reviews, but we are left with a completely useless item.
