Blueair Air Purifier - HealthProtect 7470i Cleans Upto 2006 sqft, 455 m³/h CADR, AQI, HEPASilent Technology Removes 99.97% Pollen, Dust, Mould, Bacteria, Viruses, VOCs, Odours - 1+4 Years

To be honest I have no idea I don’t really know if it makes any difference I got it coz I have allergy so let’s see

Been 10 days using this product. We mainly bought it because my toddler is having allergies and runny nose that we mostly associate with air quality. The second main reason is the big amounts of dust accumulations we often see from the AC, no matter how many AC cleaning we do. I can say with comfort that we've had zero improvement in both areas, this product is supposed to be the Lamborghini of air purifiers, and with such a hefty price tag you expect to feel some immediate improvement. It is placed in the middle of a small living room, running almost 24 hours, no feeling of fresh air, no reduction in dust, very minor help in taking out cooking odors. In fact, you could see dust accumulated on top of the device itself in a very ironic way. The device however does look premium, and the filters are some of the largest I've seen on similar products. However, and in terms of functionality, I am yet to see anything close to impressive.

Has a very irritating coil whine (monotonous buzz that's on even with the fan completely off) that makes it borderline impossible to use in the bedroom. Not noticeable during the day and/or at high fan speeds, very noticeable at night. Can't sleep with it powered in the room. Extremely disappointing for a supposedly premium product. May not be noticeable for older users as maximum hearable frequency drops with age. This fails the #1 reason to buy a more expensive purifier: silence. Air quality monitor is imprecise. I have a separate air sensor. Blueair 7770i was happily showing 0 pm2.5, while 1 meter away the sensor was showing 5 ug/m3. Don't rely on its readings. At high fan speed it slowly dropped over about 1 hour to 0-1 ug/m3, so the purifier part works.

Der Blueair HP 7470i ist wie alle Luftreiniger aus dem Hause Blueair von der Leistung her einfach nur top! Der 7470i ist leise und kraftvoll, bei Gerüchen und auch bei Feinstaub, Pollen reagiert die Automatik sehr sensibel und schnell! Ich kann den 7470i aus jahrelanger Erfahrung(April 2021) empfehlen für Räume bis circa 25 m² (Deckenhöhe 2,40 m)! Die Einrichtung über die App ist problemlos möglich, auch das wechseln des Filter ist innerhalb von ein paar Minuten erledigt! Bei mir haben der Originalfilter bei täglichen Gebrauch von 4-8 Stunden drei Jahre gehalten!

Very disappointing. The device is nice but the app is useless - disconnected frequently initially, now wont connect at all, ever if deleted and reinstalled. Tech support no help at all, and now for months will not connect at all
