I spiraled looking for the best car seat; many are solely rear-facing! This one is convertible, both rear-facing and forward-facing. I found it in the top ten picks on a few non-sponsored websites. It is roomy, easy to adjust, sturdy, and the installation was a breeze. It has two cupholders. This car seat is well made, and the material seems strong and sturdy, but the inserts are so soft. It is NOT tiny; it is pretty wide. I have a BMW iX, which is quite large. My husband is tall and able to extend his seat far enough back, and even though she is in the middle, it was a problem with the last one. I have read many reviews about the smell; mine had no scent. I purchased this car seat to stay stationary in my car; I would not recommend buying it to attach to a stroller because of its size and weight. It's user-friendly, and the harness is easy to adjust. It feels very safe, which I think, at the end of the day, is the most important. The car seat is a great value; I wanted to write a review because I see that many reviews are from people who were “gifted” it in exchange for their reviews. I paid full price, and I think I got a great deal. I would consider other Maxi Cosi products in the future. If you are on the fence, go for it; no regrets.

It’s very good quality and very safe and comfortable for the kids I like it very much, worth the price.

I like this seat but the Velcro on the strap pad has destroyed the fabric on the seat because it wasn't perfectly lined up. Before I even noticed, the damage was done. If my baby fiddles with it even a little it starts snagging the seat. I do like the size of the seat though and I like the buckle, I can get it off and on with one hand if needed and it still is very secure.

Best carseat I’ve owned. My baby loves it and will be using this until they outgrow it! It’s very padded and is easy to install which is a huge plus.

I really wanted to love this. I was so excited to get it for our baby as Maxi Cosi seems to have high stardards and high ratings. Received the item overnight which was great, but when taking out of the box, the seat was literally night placed right in the box. I understand minimizing packaging/plastic use, but the car seat had zero protection. On top of that, the car seat had the most overwhelming chemical smell as others have mentioned. So bad that I got a headache from it in the car, even after letting it air out. Weird for a car seat that’s supposed to be “nontoxic” materials to smell like that. In addition, my baby absolutely hated the car seat. She SCREAMED to the point that she couldn’t breathe. It’s WAY too bulky even around their head. The car seat would not stay reclined into position 2 or 3 at all and once install it was way too difficult to even get it reclined. Finally, it was impossible to get the LATCH system installed safely - the car seat base is wider than the latch system AND I couldn’t even get it tightened enough because it’s impossible to tighten in the right direction. If you want a good car seat for your baby, do not get this one.

3rd time mom and this has been my favorite car seat. Extremely comfortable, magnetic chest trap closer is a MUST! Extremely easy to install and adjust straps with just a squeeze of a handle. Cup holders are easy to clean, and material holds up and washes well in the washer. Highly recommend this car seat.

Tengo un vehículo compacto y la silla queda perfecta, no choca con el asiento de adelante estando reclinada y a contramarcha. Fue fácil instalarla, quedó super justa y no presenta movimiento. No tiene ningún olor raro, ni penetrante o desagradable. Llegó en perfectas condiciones. Volvería a comprar otra sin pensarlo
