Thompson Center Arms Forend for Contender 12" Hunter & 14" Barrels (Composite)

Purchased a beautiful Contender super 14 barrel in .22 Hornet and needed a forend. Figured the T/C brand was the way to go. It fits the bull barrel fine. I am surprised at how cheap looking and feeling it is. This is barebones functional but ugly and cheap plastic looking. Screws have straight slot heads…would of hoped for allens since they have to come on and off to swap barrels. Will be shopping for a forend that looks proper on a thousand dollar pistol

Fit perfectly on my Super 14 - .44 mag barrel. I am very pleased the quality and fit. I would buy this item again.

It does the job and mounts fine on my Super 14 .223rem barrel, but you can tell by the flash and the mold lines that this is made rather cheaply.
