Great performance in a neat package
Very pleased with my new PC bought to replace my aging PC which was giving up the ghost. Very easy to set up but I did have one issue. I also purchased a Dell monitor to go with the PC, I plugged all the leads in correctly and switched on. The only thing that appeared on the screen was a sub menu asking me to select the correct language. Neither the mouse or the keyboard would change the options and I could not get past this screen. Whilst working with the Amazon On Line help guy I tried using the physical buttons at the bottom of the screen and this worked ! From then on the set was easy. Its a great PC, very fast and more than enough for the average user like me.

RUBBISH AFTER SALES SUPPORT - DO NOT BUY THIS
I have purchased the earlier version of this desktop, XPS 8930 gaming PC for my kid’s birthday in May 2020. By August 2020 the bluetooth function stopped working. Reading other reviews for Dell XPS here, I realised I am not alone in having a broken bluetooth with this equipment. PLEASE SPEND SOME TIME READING THE REVIEWS BEFORE GOING FOR THIS EQUIPMENT. After spending hours running Dell’s automated troubleshooting routine which kept glitching half-way through, we were given contact details for Dell’s support team. My kid and I then spent 1.5 hours each with the customer support team who were clearly reading from a script and not listening to us when we were saying that we had already gone through the troubleshooting routines they were asking us to run again. On the 16/11/2020, Dell finally agreed to arrange service for the computer. However, almost one month later (11/12/20) no one contacted me yet to arrange pick up of the PC and they put the task of securely packing the computer for shipping on me, as if I had computer boxes and secure wrapping material around the house, just waiting for the opportunity to pack the computer for service. I had to spend almost £50 ordering shipping material from Amazon to be able to pack the computer security and I am not even sure if this will do the job. I have also spent a fortune on wired headphones, keyboard and mouse to replace the bluetooth equipment my kid had for his computer. Unfortunately I have purchased this from John Lewis who will not take the computer back - they said I have to work with Dell to get the issue resolved under the warranty. I feel like I may just as well had thrown £1.5k out of the window and wasted hours of my life trying to get this sorted. I am never purchasing Dell again.

Total "Lemon" and Scam
What we call in America... a Lemon. CPU is far too much for the fan. That fan was designed for ancient single core and at most 15 year old dual-core chips. Not a Roasting i7. What's worse, is there is no "Airflow" that is bragged about in the ad. In fact... though i gifted this to a friend im encouraging them to send it back for a full refund. Id rather pay the Extra $500 to give them a real machine from the US. Not this scam ridden BS that plagues the entire UK market. Hpnestly people... show some dignety. It was so difficult to find anything in the local UK market which wasnt an obvious scam. I thought a big name like Dell may offer some integrety. For context im giving a stink about the cooler because the one shown in the images is a noctua b680 which would totally make this system work. Yet on inspection there is a dinky inadequate and ancient fan in its place. Even with a better cooler the chassis is all wrong for any pc that will demand proper heat managment. Ill be calling Amazon.US to report all these scams. I suspect there is a legal angle to all of this.
