must buy
Must buy for kids with braces. Flossing has been easier with my kid—fewer steps and time spent on flossing. Anyone with braces should purchase but it for kids - it's a must.

Best flossers for in between metal brackets
I am so glad they invented this product. Whether you have braces or built in retainer, You can't beat this dental floss. It slides in very nicely between the teeth and you don't have to mess around with twining normal dental floss in between when the loop floss holders they have out there. This is simple quick and easy. I do have gaps between most my teeth so it's super easy to get all the plaque off my teeth. For my teeth that are a little closer together, the floss is a little thick so it can be a little rough to floss that way. I've gotten it stuck a couple times between my teeth but for the most part, I just floss where my built-in retainers are and this product is amazing!

Good product
These flossers are great for anyone with the metal bridge attached to your teeth or braces. They help thread underneath the metal bars. These ones are more durable than the cheap ones that rip apart on the metal bars. Worth spending the extra money on these.

Highly Recommended Fuzzy Floss
Husby and I have been using Superfloss for years specifically for flossing under our bridges. We cut off the long floss end, thread the pointed end in the spot easiest to get to beside the bridge, floss under with the fuzzy part, then back under to pull it out the same spot. We toss the plain floss end, don't use it at all. We use a waxed floss for all the other teeth. It's not enough to do all the teeth anyway, in my opinion. Yes, we use a lot of dental floss, but it's cheap and well worth it to keep mouth healthy. All this said, like another review on Apr 18 2025, we must have gotten a couple of bad batch boxes - had to cut off the frayed tip of the pointed end before we were able to thread under the bridge. No big deal. We highly recommend this fuzzy Superfloss.

A cardboard box! Hooray!
I've been using another brand of threader floss, but was so unhappy with the plastic casing and plastic packaging. I found that floss slightly easier to use, but the difference is minimal. I do wish the stiff threader end was not quite so long.

Reinforced End Is Helpful, But Frays Easily in Braces
I had high hopes for this Oral-B floss, especially since it’s reinforced on the end, making it ideal for use with braces. The reinforced tip is a nice touch, as it helps get the floss through the tight spaces between my teeth and braces more easily. However, I’ve run into a significant issue with the floss itself. The softer, fluffier part of the floss frequently gets caught in the wires of my braces. Once it’s caught, it starts to fray and unravel, leaving bits of floss stuck in the wires. It creates a mess that’s really difficult to clean up, and it takes longer than necessary to get everything untangled. While I understand the idea behind having the reinforced end for easier threading, the fraying issue makes this floss not the best option for someone with braces. The fluffier part of the floss doesn’t glide as smoothly as I expected, and the mess it leaves behind is more trouble than it's worth. I’d suggest opting for the plastic floss holders that allow you to loop regular floss through instead—they’re more effective for cleaning around braces without all the hassle. That said, if you don’t have braces or don’t have to navigate tight spaces, this floss may work fine for you. It’s just not ideal for braces wearers.
