With extension attached to the chain I thought it was broken and it looks a little tarnished. So I returned it for an exchange and the seller was fast in sending me another one. I wasn’t impressed with the color either but I only needed to remove the extension to see the hook ring. It wasn’t broken in the first place. I bought this in April and it has not come off my neck since. I shower with it on and has not changed color. The pendant alone with the initial is worth more than the price. You can use it with more expensive gold chain. It still retains the luster like the day I received it. I’m pleased
