Rubie's Girls Shimmer & Shine Deluxe Shimmer Costume

Purchased for my little niece and it was a perfect fit for her! It looks way better in person and closer to the actual character. She refuse to wear her other costumes because she loved it so much and it was different than most other girls. She even wore it on book character day. Very happy with the purchase best $10 spent on a costume that got worn several times.

My daughter is a tall 5T. Small fits really well but she probably won’t be able to wear it a year from now. She LOVES it.

This costume is the cutest thing ever! My daughter is five and wears a size 5 or 6, so I ordered a small in this costume and the fit was perfect. The costume has a lot of detailing with good quality and is sure to turn heads. The pink ponytail is what really sets this adorable costume off. My daughter wore this ponytail nearly everyday until after Halloween.

Adorable outfit, decently made although the material is a bit thin; but most importantly, my daughter is in love with it and ready for Halloween this year. True to size and I love that the ponytail in included.

I got this for Xmas for my little niece, who wanted a shimmer costume, her eyes were wide open as i gave her her wrapped present, she attacked the box like a wolverine on a forest squirrel and unsheathed her new play costume, what comes next? The look of a 4 year olds dissappointment, the hue of purple/pink was off, she told me it wasn’t shimmer, but some other character of the shows costume. Who was this character? I had no clue. I retreated, how could this happen? How could i let down my little niece? I looked up my order again, right there! It said Shimmer, i googled Shimmer costume, the hue matched! With my newfound confidence i approached my neice, who was obviously woo’d by her other uncle’s gifts, I said “it’s a shimmer costume Evie, the hue is on point” she screeched to me otherwise like a banshee from the depths of Mordor, she wasn’t going to be convinced, the hue wasn’t right for her, and i wasn’t going to change her mind. That was it, I had officially given her the worst uncle gift, in her mind, a bootleg shimmer costume. Update: Weeks later and I still haven’t changed her mind, she refuses to wear it, but it’s a beautiful kids costume. Will attempt to convince again tomorrow. Logging off. 1/4/19

The costume is actually prettier than on the picture. I was hesitant to buy this costume because the pants and vest looks much darker than Shimmers costume. But I was very surprised to find out that they are in fact not as dark as pictured, and the costume looks more like it supposed to look. The costume is really pretty, and pants have two layers; chiffon and sateen. The size is fine, we got size 4-6, my daughter is round 5 year old, and it fits her well. Only complaint is the hair piece could have better comb. This one together with ribbon does not hold the hair very well and the pony falls off. I added picture for you to see real colors, just FYI she is NOT wearing fabric bracelets that are attached in the set. We bought SEPARATELY Shimmer bracelets.

This costume was perfect! It was so well done and the hair piece and cuffs were a nice addition. Spirit Halloween had one for 40, party city for 30, and this one hands down was made beautifully and my daughter looked adorable!! Best shimmer costume we found and I went on a search! Price and quality is right here!

My daughter chose this as her costume for Halloween this year. Based on her height and weight (she is a tall 3-year old), I ordered the Small size. It is a bit big on her but the XS would have been too tight. Based on height and weight, I got the same size Small for my petite 6-year old, and because it's a bit tight and short on her, I think the Small would be best for a child in the 4.5-5.5 age range. The material in the front/chest is too wide in my opinion so it forms an awkward space. Besides fit, the costume came undone at the back seam after my child wore it around the house for a few hours (she was excited to put it on) - see photo. I was able to order a replacement but am hoping it lasts longer. My daughter complained that it itches at the bottom pant cuffs (the elastic on which is also quite tight) and around the arms - lots of rough polyester seams. I guess you get what you pay for.

Bought it for my 3 year old granddaugher who enjoys the show. She loved it and it was an amazing fit. True to size that is provided, and I got it for 9.99. The price almost tripled not long after...but it is a high quality product. So glad I lucked into such a fantastic deal.

Daughter loved this and looked super cute. Pony tale is difficult to keep in place.
