) Using this combination has been very good for my lymph system and health in general
I read about benefits of dry massage using raw silk gloves, along with a special detox tea, triphala and drinking water with ground flax and psyllium seed every other day. (See the book called "The Prime" for complete details.)Using this combination has been very good for my lymph system and health in general.MY theory is that the detox tea breaks up the hardened clumps in the tissue (cellulite) and by using the massage gloves I'm stimulating and moving the lymph. That removes the junk through the lymph, getting that stuff out of there. All I know is my legs are getting smoother, and I look and feel better.I was using scrubby bath gloves (synthetically made) in the shower for many years. So I didn't have a dead skin issue, but I think the raw silk stimulates the lymph like a synthetic material does not. I still use my scrubby gloves in the shower but the raw silk BEFORE my shower.I'm very happy with all my results!

Better than dry skin brushing
I’ve tried dry skin brushing over the years to help stimulate the lymphatic system using natural bristle brushes, but I can’t say I really loved it. The brush was either too stiff or too soft or felt too awkward. Then I heard about garshana gloves and decided to give them a try. I chose this brand because of the no-slip Velcro around the wrists (I can’t imagine how the gloves would stay on otherwise!), and I love them! Using the gloves is so much more relaxing, gentle and soothing than using a brush. I also have more control with the gloves versus a brush- it just feels more natural. My skin is soft and smooth after. I liked them so much I ordered a second pair, so that when one is in the wash (I wash on delicate cycle and hang to dry), I won’t be without them!

Great gloves!
I love using these gloves and prefer them to the dry skin brush I had been using. The one thing that I don't love about them is the velcro closure. It's a great idea but very hard to close the velcro with my hand that is already in its glove. Not sure if this could be improved and it is certainly just a detail; still love the gloves.

I bought these gloves for use with "The Prime" diet ...
I bought these gloves for use with "The Prime" diet. They're supposed to increase lymphatic function, reduce cellulite, and remove dead skin. I can't say that I've seen any of this happen just yet and I've had them for about 4 weeks. But I'm willing to stick with it to see if things improve.

The Best Dry Massage Gloves!
Raw silk massage glovesWhat a difference these gloves make compared to a brush for dry brushing. And the quality is outstanding. These are the best tools for this practice. I like the nice neutral shade And the clever feature that turned what might have been an awkward mitt into a functional glove. Great Design! Easy TO Do Business With too!

Great gloves for Ayurvedic lymph massage and removing dead skin
I’ve used these every day since I received them. They are easy to use and I’m following the directions on how to use them in The Prime, by Chaudhary. They are smooth and effective at removing dead skin and moving lymph. Highly recommend!

At least I found an alternate use for these...
Not even slightly abrasive. I thought these gloves would be a gentler version of the dry brushing I perform twice a week. That brush was made in Japan and it is very abrasive. I tried using the gloves in a vigorous way, but they were useless. I like that they are washable, so I will now use them for covering my Aquaphor coated hands whenever I do an overnight treatment.

Love them but would like to know more about manufacturing
I simply love my raw silk gloves! I love the design with the velcro because other designs were always falling out as I have small hands. I practice Garshana daily. I do have a question about the raw silk production process. I would really like to know more about the manufacturing process. There is a mention of Silk Sericin and its benefits in the product description but my understanding is that Silk Sericin is removed during manufacturing of raw silk...so careful with claims....Are Raw Silk Gloves Vegan?
