Vivica A. Fox BRIE-V, Futura Synthetic Heat Resistant Fiber, Pure Comfort Cap, Straight Top Style with Layered Loose Curl Flip Full Wig (FS4/27)

I am new to wigs so here are my reasons for buying this wig.1) Once I hit menopause & started taking hormones the texture of my hair changed. My hair used to look just like this wig; long, straight and shiny, but now it is curly, coarse and dry. I wanted a wig that looked like my old, pretty hair.2) I am not a 'glamour' gal and I do not like taking a lot of time getting dolled up to go out. I am more of an outdoorsy/ jock who needs to be able to occasionally clean herself up and go out in public like a social member of society. The ponytail hairstyle was getting old and not very pretty. I love the idea of just putting on a wig and BOOM, hair is done. One less thing for me to deal with.3) I have been toying with getting a new haircut with bangs but didn't want to make the commitment and then figure out that I had made a mistake that was going to take a long time to recover from. This wig was a great way for me to give the layered look a 'test run'.The color and texture were wonderful. Very pretty and simple. I could have easily passed it off for my own hair. I have been wearing it around the house trying to get used to the 'new do'. Can't wait to go out with on. Since most of my friends only ever see me in a ponytail, they have no idea what my hair looks like when it is down. It will be fun to get their reactions.Some things to note. This is a very light weight wig. It works well for me because I have my hair tucked up under it and it's the same color as the wig. If you don't have any hair your scalp would probably show thru. I think it will be great as something I throw on now and then just to go out for the evening but I don't think it's sturdy enough to be an all day, every day wig. It's a $28 wig. Don't expect the same quality as one 10x the price.Hubby thinks I am a goof ball for doing this and that I'm pretty no matter what. What a nice guy. :)I am new to wigs so here's my story. Last a long time. Easy to style. I get it often .

So thin on top the wefting shows through, cheap hair, short fly away bangs that look like doll hair. When most ratings are several years back, there is a reason. The product is no longer worth buying. For several years it has gotten worse and worse. Used to have longer bangs and weight as well as good hair. Not now. Save your time and money. Not wearable.

I love this wig, great value, love the layers, good quality and comfortable to wear with it's open weave at the back. It looks really natural BUT the style of it is really old fashioned. No one wears their hair with that little flick at the bottom anymore , it really ages you and is a dead giveaway as a wig but thankfully this hair is heat resistant so once the lenght has been straightened it looks amazing. I only wear my wig for a few days at a time inbetween wearing HH wigs to give my scalp a break from glue so getting used to it took a while but I'm very happy with it. It tangles a little in the back but not too much. Overall a great everyday wig that would suit many people.

I have worn this wig for work for months and it is still looking good. Probably replace every four or five months of frequent wear..i even washed it and it kept the shape. I get complimented often on the color, style and look.

It's not full by any means. Does not look like the picture and does NOT even bend with heat. I tried curling for two hours at the highest recommended heat setting and got nowhere. However I WAS successful will rolling the hair with bone rollers, setting gel, then placing wig under bonnet cap dryer for 15 minutes and leaving on head 5 days. Now it may not have taken the entire 5 days, I'm merely pointing out I left it five days and after had nice spiral curls. I wouldn't buy it again, even at this price point.

I do enjoy Vivica Fox stretch wigs- they are very comfortable and light and breathable.....I like this style- I love the layered flipped up look. I wish the flipped layers started higher on the head- but being a hairdresser I easily fixed that problem. However, when I went to hot curl the newly cut layers up, the hair went straight. It would not curl period. After I shampooed her, Brie behaved better. The bangs are a little too thick and can not simply be swept to the side. I had to cut them too. Overall, however, I do like this hair unit and will buy again in a blonder color. Being a cosmetologist, it is my duty to give you as much information as possible on the unit. Another point I should share is that the Brie I got was flipped out on one side and flipped in on the other side. I had tried Brie on in a wig shop prior to buying it on here and it did not have this problem. I just learned from 'youtube' that setting a wig out on a head/mannequin for a week will fix similar problems. It has been 3 days and I can see a slight difference. Again let me stress that this is a lovely wig and I am getting another one. Do not let my "overhaul of 411" scare you.
