Great colors! Frame not included
This is a real canvas, and comes without a frame, but the printed numbers are easy to see and the pigment is vibrant, just know you’ll have to frame/mount it to paint!

The proper way to stretch the canvas
A reviewer said they had used an iron to take the folds out of the canvas, but the proper way is to wet it, flatten it with a sponge, and tape it to a flat surface. I got large vacuum-packed sponges on Amazon which you leave on a counter for a couple of days so they can completely expand. I use sports tape to tape the canvas on a pre-framed 16x20 oil canvas, because I paint on an easel, but people often use a larger wooden board, and sometimes just tape it to a counter, table, or desk. To stretch it, put the canvas where wanted, wet the sponge, and holding the canvas firmly down with one hand, push the wrinkles out of the watercolor canvas with long, flat, strokes. The wet canvas will adhere the watercolor canvas to the lower surface. Then tape it down and let it dry. The watercolor canvas expands very slightly when wet, so as it dries, the taped edges will pull the wrinkles out of it. If it is still not perfect, repeat :)For $1`2 I don't expect much of the included paints, I will be mixing my own, but the outlines are really helpful.

Don’t fold the canvas!
I love the design and the paint quality is nice. However, by folding the canvas you damage it. The creases do not come out! You should roll it!

They come folded flat, and they would be much better rolled by to avoid the creases
I loved these paint by numbers.

High quality all the way
This is a really high quality paint by numbers set and the picture is really beautiful. Very decent quality brushes, although I have a set of Benecci brushes I bought from Amazon a while back that I find more useful since they are better quality and a wider range of brush sizes. But I'm sure these would get the job done. I was very impressed with the quantity and quality of the paint as well and the canvass. Numbers easy to read and the paint covered the lines and numbers fine. My only complaint with all these kits with folded canvasses is just that - they are folded. And it takes some time to get the creases out and if you don't have an iron and ironing board it might be impossible. You have to spray dampen the canvass and then cover with a damp cloth or towel and iron vigorously over and over until the creases disappear - I used a medium setting on the iron. But after about 20 min all the creases were gone. Just be aware but this kit is no different in that regard than any other folded one. But the canvass is very good quality. Very pleased with the outcome even though I'm not the best painter in the world. A fun and relaxing hobby for sure though.
