Put a pea-sized amount on my painful shoulder. Ten minutes later the burning sensation started. At the same time, the pain and stiffness started to go. Really good pain reliever but only use a tiny amount, otherwise the heat could create a different pain! However, that does mean that this is very good value, as the tube will last for ages. Also, love the smell, I picked up the nutmeg as soon as I'd applied it <3

This product came last week and was well packed and is ready to use its a very absorbent hot pain relief cream for back neck joints it has a very hot relief on area be very careful with amount used

Works really good and lasts

This stuff is very good. It creates an effect similar to deep heat. Very pleased.

Quite disappointed with this It does heat upon application but don’t think it actually does anything for pain relief. Used a small amount and broke me out in a rash and was very itchy and annoying.

Great product, great value for money, instant pain relief and It really heats that muscle but only use a drop or it will be burn

It’s difficult to avoid starting a review of this gel without mentioning Deep Heat from the off. That’s such a ubiquitous product, and there are so many similarities, that it’s easier to describe how it differs. For example, despite being called a gel, it’s more of a cream than a gel. It’s bold white and a little bit runny, and it leaves a bit more of an overt sticky glycerin residue that you can feel on the skin a fair while after application.In muscular terms it does feel the same. There’s a skin tingle that arrives first, and over time a more subdermal warmth which feels calming against the aches of sore knees and aching post-jogging thighs. One thing I would warn about- not a fault of the product- is to be careful not to rub it in to a leg where there’s an insect bite- I had a tiny bite on a leg that I applied it to and the sting is really strong. It’s a sign that there’s clearly active ingredients in it!Personally I find the smell one of the most effective parts of a heat gel like this, and the scent is the best thing about this cream (sorry, gel). Again it’s similar to ‘that other product’ but it has a slightly herby, slightly more natural tone to it- just slightly spicy, rosemary, clove and the like. It’s quite an old-fashioned smell, but rather endearing, and it’s quite strong and lasts a long time on the skin.One of the differences you can’t avoid mentioning is that for the price of one of these 80ml tubes, you could get two 100ml tubes of Deep Heat (at time of writing). I prefer this cream to Deep Heat, a little, because of the scent, but probably not enough to spend more than twice as much on it.

I recently jammed my finger and pulled a leg muscle during a MMA training session. Usually this would leave me in pain and agony for days until it would eventually heal. This Pure heat gel by Puressentiel has seriously changed the game and has supercharged my recovery. Just 48hrs after my injury, I am back on my feet and ready to start training again.The gel has quite a strong menthol smell which lingers around on your skin for hours. As a result I found that applying just before bed was most effective as this would give the gel plenty of time to 'marinate' on your muscles overnight. The heating effect is very strong and at times it almost felt like it was burning my skin when I applied a layer that was too thick.Note to self, apply only thin layers at a time as truly less is more. The gel numbs the pain and the added essential oils help boosts recovery. 5 stars overall.Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! :)
