these were so cute it looked really pretty and sparkly on the little cats i crocheted they different sizes were awesome it was easy to put in the project just make sure you put in before you fasten off

The gray is actually more of a black sparkle and you can not see it well if at all unless under super bright lights. A couple of the eyes did come damaged, but overall mostly everything is decent and usable. I did not find the backings hard to put on. The backings were actually easy to put on when I compare them to other safety eyes that I have used prior. These are a great buy for anyone on a budget or starting out. 4 Stars due to the underwhelming gray sparkle not being as depicted in the listing.

So, I bought a gigantic stuffed spider on Amazon for a bed pillow. It's HUUUUUGE.But it had basic brown and black teddybear eyes that were placed poorly, and just.. no. Spiders don't have irises, and it just looked goofy.Enter this awesome set of large eyes. I opened up my spider & did a few customizations on it, and while I was in there, I gave it more eyes placed in the proper locations, of the proper color.It has gone from a goofy looking big but derpy spider, to:"OMG! IT'S DISTURBING THAT YOU SLEEP WITH A SPIDER BIG ENOUGH TO KILL AND EAT EVERYONE IN THE HOUSE-- I CAN'T LOOK AT IT'S FACE. WHY DID YOU GIVE IT REALISTIC SPIDER EYES?!?!?!" - my arachnaphobic roommatemission accomplished.:) I am very pleased with the results.

Honestly, I was excited to use these when I saw them online however only a minimal amount can be used. The eyes are placed in a plastic container where they can scratch and wear out the eyes.The majority of the eyes are noticeably chipped. The color of the eyes has spots where the color has ripped off of the back.
