Theses are absolutely the best screen protectors for the Nexus 5X. They are extremely easy to put on and there is also a video showing how to put it on as well. I had 1 on my 5X for nearly a year and it worked great; no scratches, wiped clean and never pealed off or had any bubbles form. But then I ended up dropping my phone on rough concrete face down, and it cracked the screen protector but did not even crack my screen or even put a mark on it. And since there is a lifetime warranty, I sent a message to Mr. Shield on their Amazon site yesterday, and they already sent me out a new pack today! The customer service is amazing. These are by far the best deal and all around quality when it comes to screen protectors. I also use an Encased brand case and belt clip holster for the 5X and it still fits perfectly with the screen protector on.

Tempered glass screen protectors cost a dollar or two more than plastic, but they are far more scratch- and blemish-resistant. The clear image and no need for replacement is definitely worth it.The installation process was fast, simple, and effective. Instructions were clear, with illustrations. Just be sure to follow them carefully, as any dust or droplets of alcohol from the cleaning will create ugly bubbles that you'll have to eliminate one at a time. It doesn't mean you need to start over with a new screen protector, but it's an easily avoided hassle.One of the cleaning tape stickers left a small amount of gum residue on the outside of the screen protector. This was easily removed with the same alcohol pad I used to clean the screen.

Mr. Shield are pretty decent screen protectors for the LG Nexus 5X. I always use a phone case and screen protectors to keep my phone safe as I don't like to pay absurd amounts for insurance with even more absurd deductibles. Any way, my first screen protector didn't work well with my phone case and started cracking on the left edge toward the middle of my screen - after the first week. It eventually spread as its glass and I promptly removed it. My wife has the same phone and case but has yet to have this problem. Either way, these Mr. Shield Screen Protectors are covered with a great warranty, hence the 4 star review. I would recommend this product as they are very clear and easy to put on, I just got a little unlucky and prematurely fractured my first one.

First! :-) I previewed Mr. Shield's reviews for other tempered glass phone protector's they make. I'm giving it a full 5 stars from my initial impression. I had no problem with install, clean and easy. All of the cleaning wipes and stickers were includes. There's even a great How-To video they prompt you to go to on the inside cover. Most other companies that I've tried for my Nexus 5x and other phones only offer 2 shields. If you're anything like me, you like having a scratch free screen. So having two back up shields for other company's price of 2 is a great bonus. I'll update this review if I see anything fishy. (I've also installed all of my family's screen protectors as well for iPhones and Android alike. In my experience, Mr. Shield seems about on par with the other highly reviewed screen protectors out there.)

great quality protector

This cover is great. I bought Mr.Shield for my Galaxy S5 two years ago, and that screen is still on that phone and going strong. I had no idea the new ones were so thick and substantial. I am absolutely blown away by the screen, the tools provided, the application instructions, even the packaging they came in. I already like Mr. Shield products, but they stepped up their game and improved on a product I didn't even think needed improvement until i opened these bad boys. Application is a breeze. I had the first screen put on flawlessly, and I can tell it will last a long time. The pricing is great, and I recommend these screens to anyone looking to protect their devices.

Pros:Easy to install.Very smooth to touch.No awkward rainbow effect.Easy to remove without leaving residue should you need to.Cons:Did not fit well with my current case. Was a touch too wide.I lost a fair bit of touch sensitivity. Multiple touch commands did not work most of the time.

I bought these shields when I first got my Nexus 5x. The phone was pretty pricey and really nice, so I wanted to protect it. The first time I ordered this Mr. Shield three pack, two were delivered to me broken, so I contacted Amazon and they refunded my money. I put the one good one on my phone. About three months later, I dropped my phone BIG TIME. A big crack appeared. I was sad, but knew I dropped it myself out of carelessness and it would be insane for the screen protector to have worked that well, so I wasn't bitter and didn't blame Mr. Shield. Still, I removed the screen protector to see how bad the damage was and THERE WAS NOT A SCRATCH. The shield protected it beautifully. Obviously, I purchased the product again and this time it seems that all three shields were packed MUCH better, though the two extras are so nicely packaged that I don't want to open them until I need them. I almost wish I could renege my refund and give THEM my money back. Even though the first time I bought them, two came to me broken, the one that worked, really worked.
