Beautiful book and great directions!
My first completed project from the Sew Illustrated book! I changed things a bit, but well, I always do ' LOVED making all these little houses, cutting the small fabric pieces, and finally "illustrating" them. If you have been wanting to get this book but feel a little intimidated because of the complex appearance of the projects, don't worry! Minki and Kristin walk you through every step and give you all the tips and tricks to master this in no time! I can tell you, it's been a real joy for me! '

Outstanding book!
I rarely give a craft book 5 stars so I am super picky. I held off on buying it for almost a year after it came out. There are so many cute amigurumi (aka small sewing projects, with a Japanese look to them), the instructions are great. and if you feel intimidated about using your sewing machine to draw with on a very tiny scale, don't worry, there are several large scale projects in the book too. The author is very sweet and active on social media so you can see a lot of her makes on her blog, on her instagram account etc.

So many cute ideas!
I absolutely love Minki's illustrations on Instagram and was so excited to get a whole book full of her fun designs. So many cute ideas to try and I love that the publisher is fixing the printing problem and sending us new pages for the iron-on transfers. I'm not sure I can pick one design as my favorite but her bag section is full of the most adorable bags and the typewriter design is just so good. I love all the photographs that show step by step since I'm a visual leaner. Great book - perfect addition for your sewing library!

I absolutely love this book
I absolutely love this book! Such a different approach to sewing with an absolutely amazing result! The instructions are clear and thorough, so don't be afraid to give this technique a try. As the 1 star review stated, the iron on transfers in the back of the book are printed on both sides, so basically making them unusable. I contacted the publisher and they quickly sent me out a new set printed correctly.

So Cute
The only word I can describe this book is "cute." It is a beautiful book with lots of ideas. It's inspirational and really makes you think out-of-the-box as a person who sews or embroiders. It really puts a modern, chic twist on your grandmother's embroidery!

Lovely book to return to time and again
this is a lovely wee book. I have only actually used it once but I love to read it. one thing, I don't know how you are to use the iron on patterns at the back when they are doublesided?

Great book for a sewing beginner
It's a rather basic book, suitable for a beginner, but not really what I was looking for.
