60 Plus Belles Chansons

This was meant as a gift and I just found out that the CD arrived damaged. It will only play the first song in the first CD. What a pity!!!

The great thing about this collection is the price. Unfortunately there were a lot of songs that were not the "most beautiful" to me so I ended up copying the songs and making one CD with the songs I like. A bit of work but I'm pleased with the result.

How nice to have so many of Jacques songs in one package. The sound is excellent showing care in the mastering process. If you're a fan of French Chanson and Jacques Brel in particular, you'll want to add this one to your collection.

This is a very delightful collection of Jacques Brel -the great one!- and I'm amused that I found it only for $10 dlls and a few more cents!It's a bargain for sure!!!And it was at my door in two days or so... I'm thinking to buy it again because is the type of music that never goes wrong as a gift! ;)

I never knew so many of the songs I love were written by Jacques Brel. I bought cd called "Peter Straker's Brel" which is fantastic and in English. I wanted to hear the originals sung by Jacques Brel himsel. So glad I did.

Cannot understand many of the words,but the meaning comes through. Great love songs. He was a master. I hear his influence in many songs today

Nice, nostalgic, great interpreter, much more than a singer. Heart felt songs about love and life. Died to soon, had much more yo give.

This album is fantastic. It takes me back to my teens in the 60's when Scott Walker did a number of covers. Really great & highly recommended!
