CLTKITW01 - Clamptite - Kit Including Case, CLT01 Tool and 4 Rolls 304 Stainless Steel Wire

I'm only giving three stars because maybe it's me and not the tool... I'm not sure. Maybe I need more practice. The reason I wanted to try this item, besides how well they make it look on all the videos, was because I wanted to replace the hose clamps I use when replacing the ends on our garden hoses. When I use this tool, the wires are even, they look good, nice and tight, but the hose leaks. They did not leak when I used standard hose clamps. Maybe I'm not tightening the wire enough? I've even applied two separate groups on one fitting and still it leaked. The wires are tight enough to bury themselves in the hose. Maybe a larger gage wire is the trick. I don't know.

Fantastically handy little tool! Once you get the hang of it, its not difficult.
