Excellent traction on ice and easy to put on. I previously used a pair of Stabilicers which also worked well but were a struggle to put on. For size 12 hiking boots, I ordered the extra large. They fit just right. They come with a storage bag that might be useful for off-season storage but is too small to insert icy crampons in regular use.

I can’t yet speak to the durability or longevity of these ice cleats, but so far they have been an absolute LIFE SAVER for navigating ice and frozen snow. We got hit with a huge winter storm this weekend with accumulations of 12+ inches of snow, sleet and ice. In the past, walking my strong, reactive dog was a treacherous nightmare following a snow storm. Now, I can navigate our walks confidently and with ease—no more slipping for this dog mom! Pros: - easy to slip on over shoes, including bulky winter boots; took less than 30 seconds - item has some stretch to it, so it fits a variety of shoe sizes and styles (I wear a women’s size 8 and ordered the recommended size) - stayed on shoes and didn’t slide or twist while walking - provides complete traction when walking over even the thickest patches of ice, slush, and snow - can still walk on regular pavement too Cons: - when walking on a mix of ice and regular pavement, the ice cleats began to hurt the bottom of my feet while on the cleared pavement — but this would only be an issue for someone who is walking for long periods in mixed terrain. they’re extremely comfortable when walking on snow and ice (you don’t even feel them) TBD: - I’ve only just used these cleats for the first time, so I will update my rating if any issues arise with the quality/durability of this product. If no update is provided, assume that the ice cleats are still holding up well!

These have saved me. As a husky owner, I don’t get days off from walking, no matter what the weather is doing or what condition the sidewalks and pathways are in. I live in a cold climate that has melt/freeze cycles and ice build up is atrocious in my suburban neighbourhood in the winter. After nearly falling on any icy patch and successfully cranking my knee in the process of trying to stay upright, I went looking for a solution to my winter boots that clearly didn’t have enough traction for the conditions. I came across these boot grips and they’ve been a life saver. Ice and snow are no longer perilous, they efficiently help your feet grip all terrain, EVEN bare pavement which is where other cleats had failed me in the past - they always slipped a bit on clean surfaces. These don’t do that, I think because the spikes are very short. Highly recommend for anyone who has to walk in the winter. These would be especially great for the elderly or anyone else who might have mobility issues and not falling is of utmost importance.

One of the best purchases of winter running gear. Easy to use, works like a dream. Im almost hoping for a few more storms this year so I can use the again. 10/10 recommend.
