Our church has recently had our mailbox robbed. The old mail box was lock and on a post. We needed a more secure box, so we purchased this one and had it installed in an exterior fire door. It looks great and has worked out as we had hoped. It's not very noticeable and easy to use from the inside.

Mailbox is made of sturdy metal and appears durable. Advertised as resistant to rain but my mail is wet when it rains and there is water sitting in the bottom of mailbox. I think it is getting in the back of mailbox through the door. Mailbox is on fence at front of property. Perhaps it was not designed for installation on fence so this may be my fault and not manufacturer. I believe a thin rubber gasket between the edge of the door and mailbox would solve that problem. Perhaps the manufacturer will add that to the mail box. The key did not go into the lock very well and after opening the door with the key a few times now the key will not work. I hope the seller will see this review this and send me a new lock and key. It looks easy to replace. In order to open mailbox door I had to use a drill to drill a hole in the lock and now use a screwdriver to open the lock. The mailbox is attractive; I like it, very easy to install.

No disappointment on this products quality.It’s 20g steel and well constructed as advertised.A paper stencil for the hole you have to cut into the door would be nice but I’m more than capable of the necessary fabrication techniques required for that. It came missing 4 of the longer screws the instructions said to use 🤬 oh well.

Fit and finish isn't perfect but appears sturdy enough to keep maintenance crews from getting access to mail.

I liked this mailbox because it’s lockable and it was integrated on our gated door. Easy access for us. Happy purchase.

Don’t get this unless you actually want to actually read the letters you receive.This is not waterproof in any way. All my mail is so mushy that I can’t read the bills, letters and magazines I received.

So elegant and nice to install in my gate

Bought it for the office door for the secretary at work and she loves it. Very quick and easy to install. So far it seems solid. only 4 stars do to the fact that they sent it with cheap chrome screws. We changed them for black head ones for roofing to have a nicer finish.
