This teleprompter can sit on a table or attach to a standard tripod while your camera is placed behind it. The teleprompter accommodates a variety of projection devices. Use the power of your iPad, iPad2, iPad 3, iPad 4, iPad Mini, iPad Air, iPad Pro, iPhone, Android tablet, Microsoft Surface, or Smartphone to project scrolling text off the reflective beam splitter glass. This teleprompter was made to accommodate larger tablets such as the Microsoft Surface Pro and iPad Pro. There are two ways to secure your tablet to the teleprompter. An adjustable rubber stop wedges the tablet between itself and the back of the teleprompter. You are also provided with a business card size magnet that you can adhere to your tablet or tablet case. The magnetic holds your tablet to the metal teleprompter. You can pivot the frame (that holds the glass) to an optimal 45 degrees to reflect the scrolling text projected from your tablet. When the teleprompter is not in use, fold the frame down to make it more transportable or for easy storage. The included black cloth provides a black background to the white scrolling text. The beam splitter glass allows 70% visible light transmission. This is the same beam splitting glass found in more expensive teleprompters, but at a significantly reduced cost. The only assembly required is to attach the black cloth. NOTE: Purchase of the teleprompter does not include an iPad, video camera, tripod, or teleprompter software.
