Nice knife. Sharp, use it frequently, looks good and don’t need to worry about a wooden handle upkeep. Use it over others in my knife block.

We've only had the Hammer Stahl 6-Inch Serrated Utility Knife for about a month but are impressed with the quality and sharpness of the blade and the quality and comfort of the sturdy handle. It is definitely a multi-purpose utility knife able to easily cut vegetables, fruits, breadis, etc. With proper care we expect to get long time use with this knife. We bought this knife to replace a worn-out different brand of utility knife and are happy we made this purchase-- it's worth the price. Given the knif'e's overall quality and attractive design of the handle, it would be a nice gift for anyone who loves working in the kitchen and appreciates having quality instruments for preparing meals.

I have 5 Hammer Stahl knives and when I saw this one on sale at Amazon, I had to add to my collection. This is an incredible knife-especially with tomatoes, cucumbers, scallions-really every thing I have tried it on. I wish I had added the bread knife when it was on sale-I love to bake sourdough bread and my current 3 bread knives are not very good. I am sure the Hammer Stahl bread knife will just as great as the rest of their knives. If you love to cook you will not be disappointed with any of Hammer Stahl Knives and their customer service is excellent.

In July 2023, my wife received the Hammer Stahl Bird's Beak knife as a gift and we both were amazed at its beauty and sharpness. Since then, I've gifted her with 5 other Hammer Stahl knives and each was just as high quality, just as beautiful, and just as sharp. I am constantly amazed at how reasonably priced they are, with most being in the $30 - $40 range. You absolutely can't go wrong with these knives!

Beautiful knife but handle is to small to be practical

I needed to invest in some good kitchen knives but didn't want to go nuts! These knives had great reviews and looked like what I was needing. I took the plunge and bought 4 knives: 3.5" pairing knife, 4.5" Utility knife, 6" serrated knife and an 8" Chef knife. These knives have a great hand feel to them with a good balance and they look great. The edge is good and sharp and I got the sharpener and honing blade plus a canvas pouch to store them all. Only used them for about a week but I love them, they are well made and don't break the bank for a quality product. Should last many years if not a lifetime. If you are on the fence about a set of knives, you won't be disappointed if you pull the trigger on these.

This is a great multiple purpose serrated knife for the price. I make sandwiches with it. I cut bagels with it. I cut loaf bread with it. I cut big beefeater tomatoes with it - without loosing the juice inside. I can cut small thin tomatoe slices and onion slices. I can even cut a steak with this serrated knife! Having such a versatile knife in the kitchen or for barbeque is essential. The knife arrives sharp, is balanced and is well made. The price paid is reasonable. Amazon and the merchant shipped the product quickly. A must have in every culinary arsenal.
