A must-read Bible study for writers, bloggers, or social media influencers
This Bible study was such a word in season and is one of the best Bible studies I've done in a while! As a writer and blogger who spends significant amount of time on the internet and on social media, this Bible study was so refreshing to study how to approach being a woman of influence for God's glory.I appreciated how the Bible study was written by several different authors, who shared parts of their own personal stories, including their writing journeys. If you are a writer or blogger, this Bible study is a must.I really enjoyed the structure of the Bible study compared to some of the Bible studies I've done in the past. It talked about different topics with just the right amount of detail. I've done studies in the past that got too detailed on a particular scripture or topic, so I appreciated the style of this study. The study is a 6-week study, broken out into 5 days, and each day was structured with a Bible verse, a personal story or devotion from the author, Bible verses to reflect on, and questions to consider and apply it to my own life. I thought the pace and detail spent in the scriptures were appropriate, and really appreciated the questions that helped me apply a topic to my own life.Thank you to the ladies of (in)courage for writing such a powerful and relatable Bible study!

We all have influence
Another excellent book in the Courageous Bible Study series! Like the other books, this one is good from the very first page. We are all influencers as children of God. Each day we live we influence others by the way we live. This books builds your self-confidence, it helps you see your purpose, let’s you see how important you are in the kingdom of God. Easy to read with real life situations to illustrate and help the reader understand concepts.I love that the book is divided into weeks and days. There are multiple Scripture examples. Plenty of room to answer questions and write your thoughts. I would recommend this book to any woman. You will discover more about God and how He created you just as He wanted and for a purpose. Get the book and see how you can influence others to find God and live in His freedom. We weren’t all created to influence big groups. This book helps you see the power to influence God has given us. The way you live is a reflection of Christ and can impact others.

Stirring, Affirming, Encouraging
Simply stated; Stirring stories by each author touched the areas in my life where I was encouraged to use different intentional ways to reach out to other women and affirmed areas in which I have been called in ministering to others. I enjoyed the format of this study, although I did not complete it in six weeks, as I found myself further pondering the scriptures and the possibilities in direction of ministry from the various writers. Well done!

Using Social Media for Good
When I hear the word “INFLUENCER”, I think of those people with 10,000+ Instagram followers, the TikTok stars, and the Twitter folks who talk about anything – cooking, make-up, clothes, even products.Let’s face it, social media is an INDUSTRY when it comes to influence and influencers. We don’t have to offer something physical to be an influencer though. We can simply offer ourselves. But, influence is – as the book says – simply the capacity to effect change in someone. This bible study, geared towards women; shows us HOW to effect a change – a spiritual change – in others. How to use the platforms we’re on to do that, and even if we’re not on a platform, we can still make some difference. This is such a beautifully written book which is a go-at-your-own-pace with daily (5 days) of lessons. Each week is different ground to cover:1 – Me? A Woman of Influence? – Begins with the foundational statement and enforces that yes we are influencers2 – Not Position, but Place and a Willing Yes – Reveals that influence is about where God has placed you and your willingness to say yes to Him3 – Be a Person of Integrity – Explores what it means to be a person of integrity4 – Be Generous with Your Influence – Teaches us to of course be generous with our influence5 – Be Intentional with Your Influence – Teaches how to be intentional with our influence6 – Tell Your Story – Explores how storytelling can be a powerful way of influencing othersEach day in each chapter has a different lesson as well:Day #1 – Looks at the call to courageously explore the week’s topicDay #2 – Tackles what the world says about the week’s topicDay #3 – Spotlights how Jesus or another key biblical figure lived it out and what we can learn from that personDay #4 – Shows God’s heart for the reader in that topicDay #5 – Closes the week with motivation for becoming a courageous woman of influenceThere are relevant bible passages, recommended readings, questions to reflect on the bible passages, as well as introspective questions. There are also relevant experiences from the DaySpring/incourage writers that segue into the “lessons”.This is part of the incourage bible studies. While this is connected to Courageous Simplicity, Courageous Joy, and the upcoming Courageous Kindness – each one definitely acts as a standalone study, meaning you do not need to read the previous ones to “graduate” up on it.This can be done in a solitary way or a group study.I truly love this book and recommend it for Christians looking to find a way to reach out and influence in ways other than beauty, fashion, or trends.
