Essential kit for emergencies
Very easily a literal life saver; easy to use and deploy with one hand. I keep one in every kit and bag I have, and I had to use it once to help someone in a crash and once on myself after a nasty spill while hiking. Do yourself a favor and learn how to use one of these as well as a tourniquet, it may one day save your life or another's.

Better safe than sorry.
Amazon asked me to rewrite my review due to the community guidelines. So I'll try to be sterile in my choice of words. I'm a teacher, and I've attended trainings about "unhappy" events that necessitate immediate medical intervention. During these trainings I've used gauze, rags pretty much anything the fire department has. They recommend this type of product as it tends to work best. I carry a midsized "11 gallon" capacity nylon bag with many compartments filled to the brim with this product, specialized gauze, tourniquets, gloves etc. Anything that could be used in a " difficult " event, gosh forbid. If there should be a "boo boo" that requires immediate attention, I'm ready. This product is in that bag at all times. Should one ever encounter a situation that requires immediate compression, this product seems to excel. In short, it works very well. I hope this review meets with the community guidelines. Needless to say, I'm not a doctor, but have received training from a local fire department and EMTs. I feel prepared for these "unwelcome" situations and am very pleased this very product is in that bag. I hope I never have a need to use it.

Good Medical Kit
I like these pressure bandages. The only complaint I have is that the pricing gets more expensive when you purchase larger quantities vice going lower.

Essential Trauma Bandage for Serious Emergencies
The EVERLIT Israeli 6 Inch Emergency Bandage is a critical addition to any first aid or trauma kit, especially for those who want to be prepared for serious emergencies. Designed for quick and effective bleeding control, this bandage is incredibly well-made and easy to use, even under stressful conditions. The 6-inch width provides substantial coverage, making it suitable for larger wounds, such as those caused by deep cuts, or other traumatic injuries. The compression feature is particularly impressive—it allows you to apply significant pressure to the wound, which is crucial for controlling severe bleeding until professional medical help can be reached. The vacuum-sealed packaging ensures that the bandage remains sterile until it’s needed, and its compact size means it fits easily into any medical kit or IFAK (Individual First Aid Kit). One thing to note is that the bandage is specifically designed for more serious injuries, so it may be overkill for minor cuts or scrapes. However, for anyone who needs a reliable and effective solution for major trauma, this bandage is perfect. And to keep the mood light: Why did the emergency bandage go on vacation? Because it needed to wrap up some loose ends!Overall, the EVERLIT Israeli Emergency Bandage is an essential piece of gear for anyone who wants to be prepared for serious, life-threatening situations. Its design and effectiveness make it a top choice for trauma care, providing peace of mind in high-stress scenarios.

Great Packaging!!
The bandages are sealed very well in thick vacuum sealed packs, and then placed in a zip bag. I haven’t had any traumatic injuries so, I haven’t opened them but I’m sure the quality will be there.

Health Issue
Most first responders advise that compression bandages, and/or 'trauma packs' (which seal off bleeding with chemicals) should be in every home or car emergency kit/ I used to carry a full 'homemade' kit in my car, including ten brand new white cotton towels, wrapped in plastic. On the single occasion when I needed the kit and the towels, I felt I may have saved a life by being at the scene a very serious auto accident and being able to help a mature man (60s) who had multiple lacerations...it was a rural road and the volunteer paramedics did not get there for about another ten minutes. Having life saving equipment is important in the home as well, and anyone who does keep such items knows their value is far greater than their cost, especially when a loved one is hurt.

Actually used it
Purchased for my travel/hunting kit. I had a hunting partner fall on his broad head, slicing through his calf and shin. By the time we got to him he had lost a lot of blood. Using z-bandages for packing and this for containment and pressure, got us to the hospital an hour a way just fine.
