Tires that were made 5 to 6 years before the vehicle. Please check the tire date.
I have a 2011 GMC terrain. When I bought it had 30,000 miles on it. And 50,000 miles I was inspecting the tires and the tires were all dry rotted around the rim on all four. So I went to Pep Boys and bought an exact set of Hankook tires. Exactly the same tire that was on the car. I had for about 25,000 miles on the car and was at Pep Boys to get some brakes done. I went out into the shop and inspected the tires. With the tires only having 30,000 miles on them they looked exactly the same way the first set I took off looked they were all dry rotted around the rims also. I brought this to the attention of the people at bat boys. They did not have that exact set of tires in stock. But they would not let me leave with them because they weren’t so bad of dry rotted shape. They actually located this at about 110 miles away from them and an hour and a half later there was a brand new set of these tires setting in their shop that they put on my car. Everything was good until we got ready to leave. When they told me I had to by the road hazard insurance on these tires even though I had already paid for the road hazard insurance on the existing tires. That really upset me. I had the car aligned so they threw that part in trying to make me feel better.Since then I have traded the car off I need 2018 GMC terrain with 30,000 miles on it I am like a goofball I did not inspect the tires because it only had 30,000 miles on it. About a month ago I was outside and looking at the car and took a look at the tires that had about 31,500 miles on it at the time that’s the original tires Hancocks. And to my surprise these tires looked exactly the same as the first set that was on my 2011. So here we are talking about a three year old vehicle with junk tires on it. I just now was outside checking the size of the tires so I could price a set of tires for it. And to my surprise the tires were dated 2012. So that made the tire six years old on a brand new car. And that makes the tires nine years old with 33,000 miles on them. So the moral to the story boys and girls is you need to bend over and take a look at the tires when you’re buying a used vehicle and check the date the tires were made. Especially with these JUNK HANKOOK. On a 2018 car that is roughly 3 years old and the tires are Nine years old. So Hankook can’t take these junk tires and stick them where the sun don’t shine. Therefore people always check the date on the tire even if you’re buying new ones from a dealer. It’s been on the news before about this issue and I never thought I would run a crossed it. But it is very true. Six year old tires on a brand new car. For the price you have to pay for them nowadays. There are to be some wars somehow somewhere against us. These things are not even in good enough shape to go to the store on. So now I have to go out and spend another thousand dollars after I just bought the car in January I believe it was. All right I’m done complaining and bitching. Just remember to check date on the sidewall of the tire. I know it’s a hard thing to find because it took me a while to find it but it is there. It’s all by itself there’s a set of numbers on top and the year they were made is right next to the rim. OK everybody with these HANKOOK I hope you do better LUCK than I did.

Tires
Tires arrived almost next day after ordering them. I had my local tire shop install them no problem on my mom’s Mercedes. The car drives well and doesn’t seem to have any issues at all. Tires were priced pretty well. Would consider buying again.
