We found that having a book guide was so much more convenient and fun than trying to do online research in the field. This is a good survey of Florida.

I usually like Lonely Planet but this one was too general. I ended up going to the library and getting other guide books

For $24.99 one would think the Lonely Planet could provide a pull out map for the entire state rather than just Miami. Otherwise the book is OK.

I bought this as a gift for a relative moving to Florida. I skimmed through the book and loved what I saw. Tons of information and a foldout map also. I’m sure they will love this book.

Excellent assistant as the LP books are. Covers all the highlights and makes travelling easier and more enjoyable
