Q: Is a shade cloth with a shading rate of 70% suitable for shading plants?

I would say yes. I have been using my 70% shade cloth for over a month now, and while it is still early to say 100% yes, so far the results are positive. Ask me when the summer heat is burning everything, then I'll be able to give you a conclusive answer.

Q: Can you see thru it easily? We plan on hanging it from our RV awning for shade and privacy.

Honey, they are enough shade and provide coolness.

Q: can I special order a triangle 40 % with the long side sewen edge..no gromets needed...gromets on all 8'X8' X(what ever the bottom of the triangle is)

no idea - sorry - you could fold this into a triangle - it has gromets

Q: Will this keep bugs out especially mosquitoes??

It will keep most bugs/mosquitos out but it is not a woven screen so the openings are irregular which may allow tiny bugs through. NOTE: Poor quality can not withstand strong winds or tight tension. Not enough grommets to stretch screen evenly, will leave gaps on edges.
