Solid BENQ Brand
I bought this monitor nearly 7 years ago and it is still a great monitor to this day. No power supply issues and no dead pixels. I would buy it again and again if I could. It's that reliable. However, the colors out of the box are bad with a greyish yellow tint. I suggest using an ICC color profile for this panel and tweaking the presets to be closer to SRGB. You'll get deeper blacks and sharper colors without sacrificing latency or clarity.

Trusted Gaming Monitor for FPS gamers. Great value for the overall feature set and product quality.
Great monitor for 144Hz FPS gaming. If you are still on 60Hz what are you doing, don't bother upgrading anything else until you get yourself one of these bad boys. Is not ips display, and the color quality leaves a bit to be desired outside of gaming, but thats not why you're here. I must say the out of the box picture settings are pretty bad. This monitor at 99 brightness will blind you, and that's what it's set to when you first power it on. I use a very low value Black eQualizer setting, as anything above 10 really does impact picture quality outside of gaming. This monitor is designed for one thing, and it does it very well -- Gaming. It was designed for eSports, so if you are getting this monitor for anything else, it's probably not a very great monitor, but once again... that's not why you're here. You are here to game.Has a nice sturdy base and it is very easy to adjust the position of the monitor. I'm a developer so during the day I rotate the monitor to vertical orientation and use it as a second screen. After work I rotate back to horizontal and switch to my gaming setup. This monitor gives you a lot of freedom in how you position the viewing angle of the screen without losing that stability --- this is a great feature to this monitor. The native settings controls are easy enough to navigate via buttons located on the button panel at the bottom of the monitor frame. I tinkered around in here and saved a couple different presets (for specific games) and it was pretty painless to do.For a value gaming monitor the overall product design of the monitor is quite good. Nice packaging to boot. I personally think it looks great. The monitor doesn't exactly feel high end, but it also does not feel cheap in any way.If you are a hardcore FPS gamer. This is the go-to value monitor in my opinion.Make sure to use the included DVI-DL cable.

I love the monitor
It might be a little premature to post a rating seeing as I just got it today. So far, I love the monitor. Setup was extremely easy. There are no dead pixels that I can see. The response time is extremely quick. I've not played any games on it yet, so time will tell how well it handles the few games I play. I'm not sure if my two 23-inch Samsung monitors are very bright or if the ZOWIE is a little washed out, though I am getting used to that already. Considering that my two Samsung monitors don't really match each other in color exactly, it could be that the Samsung monitors are a little off. I do wish the ZOWIE went a little lower. There is room for it, after all. If there is a con to the monitor, it would be that the power cable is shorter than I'd like. It's standard length, but one a little longer would be nice. I had to use an extension cord to connect it to my backup battery.I thought it came with a DVI-D cable, so I bought a DP cable. It turns out that the monitor comes with a DP cable instead. It was probably me misreading something. So far, customer service is great. I had a question about the monitor, and customer service responded within 10 minutes or so on Amazon. They also responded quickly to my follow-up question. So, overall, I am satisfied with the monitor. I looked at a few before deciding on this one.Edit 5/26: I have recently been playing Mass Effect: Andromeda. In games, the monitor truly shines. The colors are so vibrant. I'm not sure of the refresh rate during the game, but I do not develop eyestrain. It's either the monitor or the new computer glasses I purchased. This monitor is fantastic for gaming as well as productivity.

Great monitor, but needs some initial setup
Great monitor so far. Going from 60hz to 144hz is an insane and amazing difference. Out of the box, it seems like it would just be a plug and play like most other monitors. But unfortunately it is not.First of all I would reccomend using the displayport and not an hdmi. And if you have a CD drive, download the drivers with the disk it comes with, if not make sure you go to their website and download the drivers for the monitor. To install the drivers, extract the folder to a spot on your computers, ex. Desktop. Next go to device managers, right click on the monitor and update drivers. Click to choose to find the driver on computer. And find the folder, and click the folder to install the update. If you are running multiple monitors and they are all not on displayport, you WILL need the drivers for this monitor to work, and if you have a NVDIA gpu, you may have to go to NVDIA settings and go to multiple monitor setup and enable the monitor there, and in the settings you can put it to 144hz instead of the default 60hz there aswell. One other issue I had with the monitor out of box would be that the default colors are awful and look blurry. I would recommended putting it to standard mode and not eco mode, and looking at a good settings guide on the internet by googling the monitor, it was very easy to find.Overall it's great, and after setting it all up, I'm really loving this monitor. I would definitely get it if you were considering a monitor.
