NOT FOR GIRLS WITH CURLY THICK HAIR
So I have thicky, curly hair. I am of spanish, native american, irish heritage. I have that spanish-gypsy type curly thick hair, lol. Think Esmerelda from Huntchback of Notre Dame, or Margarita from Aguila Roja. LOL. When I was watching youtube, the girls were all like "get a wooden round boar brush, so it doesnt ruin your hair, and doesnt give you split ends.....plus its healthier on your hair when trying to do blowouts". I've been experimenting with my hair trying to straighten it without flatironing the heck out of it and burning it, because it takes me like 1hr:45min to do my hair straight. So I got this and a nice blow dryer, and whatever else thinking its gonna be great. WRONG. WRONG.WRONG. So I brushed my hair out, and right from using it with all the tangles out, my hair sort of afro'd up, but it was tangle free, and the brush was horrible and did not cooperate with me, when I was trying to turn it like the girls in the video did. So another girl said to slightly flatiron your hair a bit incase its too wild, and then try it, so I did that....still didnt work, my hair kept getting stuck in the bristles and not letting me rotate and turn the brush as I was blowdrying, trying to do that blowout crap. So I flat-ironed it a bit more, it AINT HAPPENIN. I have 3A hair mainly, and parts of it on a good day are 2C, and its long to middle of my back, and thick and dark. I was like damn I'm gonna end up flat-ironing my whole friggin head for this to work. U_________USo the conclusion is it didn't work for me AT ALL. This was a waste of money, its going to sit there, or I can use it for my dog to brush him. I'm wondering if I should've just done an aluminum brush instead.

My favorite brush for straightening my hair
Bought this off of Amazon because I already owned this brush and it's the only one that really works well when I blowdry my hair straight. The thickness of the brush keeps my long hair from getting tangled on the brush. My hairstylist recommended the natural material like boar. The thick cushion on the grip helps reduce hand fatigue. I've had my current brush for many years, and it finally melted under all the blow drying, so I searched Amazon to find the same one. I like it so much, I was tempted to buy enough to last me for life.

The bristles are too short.
The bristles are too short so the hair (unless it's super short) will surely get tangled. Should have returned it. In the trash it went. I got one that has longer and somewhat soft bristles.

There are very few bristles on this brush...
I had to return this brush because the spacing of the bristles was just too far apart. They could've added at least two more rows of bristles. Seemed pretty cheaply made.

Easy on the scalp
Nice looking brush, comfortable handle, bristles are soft to the touch and dont scratch the scalp. The only thing I'd like better is if I was able to get better tension when brush grabs hair to straighten while blow drying. That said I recommend the brush. Nice product at a great price.

Great Brush for A Year
Liked it a lot until it broke at the thin part of the handle, then d DISLIKED. Instead of wood pieced connecting the teo parts they should have put a piece of metal.

Great solid brush
My last hairbrush fell apart soon after purchase - the handle and the brush part came apart. This is one piece and has so far been great. It has good strong bristles ( I have very thick hair) and it is sturdy enough to take serious pulling while blowdrying.

Very soft bristles
I bought this brush because it looks just like the last 2 I purchased and wore out. I won't be able to use this one because the bristles are far too soft to do anything more than simply smooth the top layer of my very thick hair. Too bad, because my previous brushes were perfect... I don't know if the manufacturer has changed specs or if I simply made a mistake in this purchase. Disappointing.
