Hammock Fun for Everyone
So my wife and I aren’t you’re typical hikers and athletic type. We love to eat. But we also wanted to hammock. So, I bought her the Eno Junglenest. I also bought the Atlas Straps XL and highly rated carabiners made for hammocks and climbing. So if you are a bigger person and feel that hammock life isn’t for you, you’re wrong. This hammock is great because her or I can lay in this hammock with 100% confidence. We have 2 hammocks. The other one I have is great but nowhere near as comfortable as the Eno Junglenest. I use that one and my wife uses the Eno. She loves it. She was so happy today at the park and we had a lot of people complimenting the Junglenest because of the added bug net. Didn’t really need it today so just tucked it back. The weight of the hammock is less than 2lbs to pack. So in a small backpack I can travel with 2 hammocks, 2 atlas straps, 2 camping chairs, beverages and snacks. All the ingredients for a great relaxing day at the park. I will add the Eno Ember 2 under quilt and Eno Pro Rainfly very soon since my wife is so happy with her Junglenest. I won’t do something if she can’t. I’ll always include her in my fun times. Now we both can hammock and enjoy the lifestyle together thanks to Eno Junglenest and I’ll be buying a lot more Eno products in the near future to add to our experience for the fall and winter coming. Winter weekends in the mountain while in a hammock sounds very comfy to us. I highly recommend this hammock for bigger people 250lbs-400lbs with the Atlas Straps XL. You’ll never feel left out of a fun experience and can join the fun in confidence.

Two trips so far so good
I've had this hammock out twice now and so far so good. It's much more comfortable than my previous "starter hammock". I upgraded to this when I knew I wanted a longer, cat cut hammock with an integrated bug net and storage bag. The whole system is much lighter than my last setup.I like the pockets to store random bits, like glasses and phones.Do use an underquilt, it's very thin which is great until it isn't.I don't use the helios system. I have carabineer attached to tree straps. I wonder about the smaller looking rope. One thread seems to have warn a bit. Don't hang higher than you're willing to fall.

Good, but….
This hammock is so deep that unless your lying on top of a thick mat and on top of a sleeping bag, your too low in the hammock to see out the sides of it where the netting is. It’s already fraying too after one use, however the company said that’s normal. Hmmmmm. I wanted this for warm weather, relaxing in the day or evening and to keep mosquitoes away. It’s not really that kind of hammock. It really needs outfitting with a lot of padding underneath your body otherwise it’s claustrophobic and you ca see out only straight above. Also, you have to set up the ends so high up on the tree, as high as I could possibly reach up, because otherwise it sinks to far down to the ground.

Good for the field
I wanted a hammock specifically so I wouldn’t have to deal with setting up and tearing down a tent in the field. This one is perfect; don’t have to worry about bugs or feeling like I’m going to tip over! Set up and tear down for this takes only seconds and it is also very lightweight so doesn’t make my pack more of a hassle to carry. The only thing is that I didn’t realize you need carabiners to attach it to the suspension straps I got (I got the atlas straps), so just be aware you’ll probably need to also buy carabiners, straps, and if you want a rain fly.

Great hammock.
I have more lightweight ENO hammock but when you bring a separate bug net with it it’s actually weights more. This all in one approach is better, no extra net hanging underneath the hammock where you don’t need it. The net stays away from your face, there’s plenty of space to read a book or just hang out. The bottom is wide enough, so plenty of room to move around… well, at least for someone my size 5’6” and 124lbs.
