Love, love this keyboard. It fits perfect with my iPad Pro and the cutouts are perfect. It fits snugly - actually so snugly it is hard to get out when necessary but make me feel like it is more secure so I'm good with that. It is extremely sharp looking. I feel pretty special when carrying it or taking it to meetings. The keyboard is wonderful. I had been using a Zagg, which the hing gave way on so I'm used to the smaller keyboard. This one types very nicely and are not too loud - not too quiet either but not so loud that I feel like I can't take notes in a meeting. It was super easy to hook up to the iPad via Bluetooth and has not lost the connection since I've hooked it up. It works as a smart cover, turning the iPad off when it is closed, which is nice. The only thing I don't like is that the up, down, left, & right arrow keys are crammed in and the right sift key is very little. Very often I mean to hit the shift and hit the up arrow instead. Annoying, but I'll get used to it. I like the aluminium cover, too. It is a nice feel and sleek looking. Only thing is already the gold paint is chipping around the inside of the hings. Hopefully this will not happen anywhere else on the cover.

I tend to research items for days before making a decision. There are so many different keyboards out there and I went through many days trying to make a decision. This one is definitely the BEST decision I have ever made!The IPAD fits very snug in the cover. It is very solid when opened or closed. I love how it holds it position when opened and doesn't move from whichever position you choose. It automatically shuts off when closed and turns ON when opened. The bluetooth is very good. Never have an issue with it not picking up. I have had it for over a month and still on the its initial charge.The look is amazing. The different color options on the keyboard are AMAZING! People have stopped and asked what it was. They were amazed to see it was an Apple device. I have passed on the order details to over 10 people in the past month. A definite eye catcher.It does secure the ipad, but is not goijg to fully protect it from a fall. That was not my driving force for buying. I wanted ease of use, lit keyboard, and functionality. I got all 3!!Highly recommend and will guarantee you will love this buy! So wil all your friends. Definitely turns some heads

I've enjoy this case a lot. It works great. I use it with my iPad as my business computer for the most part, and I use it a lot. The only thing I don't like is that I don't have access to emoji keyboards. If it does this function, I'm not aware of it and I've definitely tried. I had to get used to the fact that the keyboard is not locked in, so if I need to take a picture, for example, I'm careful to remove the keyboard. I like that it's not locked in though and that I can move it around, just had to get used to it. *****updated review**** while I have really enjoyed this case and keyboard and been very pleased with it, the battery on the keyboard is no longer holding its charge. Very soon I won't be able to use it at all. I'm extremely disappointed because it was perfect until that happened. Now it's useless, and of course, out of the 30 day warranty. I purchased this on May12, 2016 and today is Sept. 13, 2016. Not money well spent

I bought this case for my 65+ year old mom to use with her new iPad. She uses the iPad as a glorified email machine, for the most part, and is always complaining about how hard it is to type properly on the screen keyboard (and I do agree with her on that!). So far, she likes the case and keyboard and says it really helps to have an actual keyboard. She really likes the bluetooth capability as well, so she can set it on her lap if she wants to be more ergonomic and her carpel tunnel is acting up.The case itself is very nice. The gold color is too flashy for my taste, but my mom likes it because it's different from the usual, boring black cases. The iPad clicks into a plastic holder and no part of the screen is covered. The camera, jack/plugs, speakers, and buttons are also accessible and accommodated. The keyboard fits nicely and locks on well enough with hidden magnets. I don't think it would stay on if you upended the case and shook it while letting it dangle, but it certainly won't move while you're typing on it. I really like how the keyboard does not touch the screen of the iPad at all when younfold it shut. It makes for a slightly thicker case, but it's worth it to me to not have something rubbing against the screen. The different color lights for the keyboard keys are a nice touch. My mom loved how many color choices she had as well as being able to choose 2 levels of brightness. I'm pretty sure she hasn't typed in low-lighting situations, but I did while testing it out for her, and I really liked being able to see the keys in the dark.There are a few cons:1.) It's heavy and chunky. The keyboard is what adds a significant amount of weight and thickness. If you are just using it as a sort of docking station and don't need to carry it around a lot, then it won't bother you. If you carry your iPad around a lot, though, just be aware that you will give up some of the portability perks (slim and light by itself) with this case and keyboard attached.2.) The iPad stays up by having the plastic frame part of the case simply resting on a sort of non-skid surface. There are no grooves or raised lines. It's not a big deal if you are using the keyboard for the most part, but if you plan on tapping on your screen a lot as well, the screen may tend to fall down depending on how hard you tap. I also don't know how long the surface will stay tacky and non-skid.3.) The bluetooth connectivity setup is not intuitive unless you are relatively tech-savvy. There is one, tiny piece of paper with directions that is a little helpful, but there is no way my mom would have been able to figure it out for herself.4.) The plastic holder for the iPad can't rotate at all. A relatively minor detail to me since I rarely use my iPad in portrait mode, but for those rare apps that only do portrait mode, it can be annoying.5.) There is no indicator light to tell you when your keyboard is on. It's very easy to forget to turn off the keyboard if you don't have the back lighting on since the switch is a teeny, tiny switch on the back edge of the keyboard, and the light only flashes on for a few seconds when you turn it on and/or connect via Bluetooth.Other than those cons, I say this is a nice keyboard and case. It works for the purpose for which I bought it, and now I'm contemplating getting one for myself! :)

Overall it’s a nice case, but the photo and description for the “Gold for IPad Pro 9.7” are misleading. The description says all around full protection. The photo for the Gold shows a white protective edging going all the way around the iPad. I bought it for this reason, since my non keyboard case is like that & offers full protection. In reality, there’s a good size portion of the bottom of this case where the iPad edge is not protected and could be damaged. The protective edging does not go all of the way around.
