My Dream Tea
Puerh tea is probably my all-time favorite. Once I discovered it I haven't looked back. I just had a 16oz Yetti full of it today. So earthy and yummy. And I love the aroma, not to mention the deep, dark color of Puerh. These small compressed discs are the way to go. They are so convenient. I break them in half and use one half at a time. And I can get multiple infusions from that half puck that last me nearly all week. I've also found over the last few years that Three Pagodas has given me consistent quality and taste. One order will last me for months, even drinking it every day. You just can't beat it, especially for the price. I'm a very happy customer.

tastes like black tea
Doesnt taste like pu ehr. Tastes like black tea. One thing i noticed was that one time i left some in my french press for a few days (only tea, no sugar or cream) and it smelled putrid, very gross. other teas and even coffee, even after 5 - 6 days doesnt smell that bad.

Great Pu Erh for the money
This is a very good, drinkable Pu Erh for the money. Great earthy taste on the bottom, with no dirt. No fishy taste. Just slightly lacking in tea taste compared to expensive puerhs. I also get one less rinse out of this tea compared to more expensive puerhs. But this is very good for the money. I like it a lot. The one for $16.99 is slightly better, but not by much.

Great Price for the Quality
Authentic tasting and beautifully packaged. Designed for gifting (vs. regular home use).I like this product. The taste resembles a mild form of the one from Vital Leaf in San Francisco, CA (my usual spot for tea, but this is half the price).Pros:Taste is very earthy with a semi-sweet finish (not bitter)Vibrant and woodsy aromaColor of tea is dark and denseProduct is tightly rolledAfter the initial quick rinse ("to awaken the tea"), the leaves unfurl and loosen easily.Well priced for the medium to mild taste (mild after 2nd cup and weak after 2+ cups)No tax charge on food itemsCons:Outer bamboo cover appeared to have mold (didn't look like dirt, won't be able to keep for storage).Only got about 2-4 good steeps before the taste was mild and weak (with different brewing methods: single brew 3-4min & gongfu-style 30-50sec, temp at 195F-200F).Hard to keep from going stale once it's open (have to find another container with breathing holes and darkness for storage). Losing it's beautiful aesthetic packaging.Packaging not designed for efficient daily re-use.

Amazing Tea
I love the flavor of this product. Is stronger and better than the tea bags which I also bought. If you are looking for quality, this is it!

Fishy smell and flavor.
Tried a variety of temps , right at boiling, right at 200, right at 190… and I rinse the tea for 30 seconds as recommended by the seller, but to no avail. This tea has a funky fishy flavor on the first cup or two. Hard for me to get past that.
