Good quality but arrived damaged

I use the gauge for my wood turning. Ideal for this use, just wish I’d bought one with a digital readout. Having said that, they’re good value for money and do the job.

IT's okay, Just needed a squirt of WD40 to improve slideability.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IT IS NOT ACCURATE.Either I have a dodgy one or people don’t want to admit they have purchased probably the most inaccurate set of calipers out there.The set I have is a massive 2mm out for outside measurements using the outside caliper points, but accurate for measuring internal measurements using the internal measure side.. this has been checked using multiple spanners of the same size to confirm how rubbish they are.They are not damaged in anyway, just poor quality control. Gone in bin, not worth hassle of a costly mistake using something so poorly described as been accurate.If you want something that measures 2mm on the short side come have a look in my bin.

Good for home use

Not top precision but does a reasonable job for most workshop general measuring. a little rough in places. needs a bit of lubrication to improve movement of sliding portion. WD 40 is a great lubricant and cleaner for many measuring tools. useful in automotive workshops and most fitting and machine shops.

They're great but I ordered two. One of which came broken on small measurement bit .. a bit upset.

Having bought electronic calipers previously, i found that they place too much reliance on the set up. THese manual calipers just work perfectly from the outset. These have allowed me to just be able to quickly and easily take measurements without needing to check battery levels and initial setup parameters.As a new reviewer to Amazon I would appreciate if you could mark this as helpful or not so that I can improve my reviews.
