Tried to cut the meat thicker than should have the first time. After the second use worked ok.

I was accustomed to using a commercial cube steak machine that has blades on the rollers. But, this hand operated tenderizer does the job for a few pounds of meat at a time. I discovered that partially frozen meat works best, that the meat needs to be sliced no thicker than a half inch in order to feed through the rollers properly, and spraying the rollers with some non-stick vegetable oil helps keep the meat from sticking to the rollers. All in all, I'm happy with the purchase.

Very poor quality!

Does a very good job for it's purpose. A little hard to set up and use, but if you're making a large meal, it's worth it. pork fingers and chicken parmesan

been looking for one of these for some time the rollers look like some kind of plastic in the pic's but they are not they are metal
