The Call of the Wild (Reader's Library Classics)

This book came in great condition and it’s a really good story about leadership and learning to work through hardships. I definitely recommend it!

bought it for my sister's summer reading. I lost my book from when i did it years ago. Came in perfect condition, and for the book itself, i think i've never loved summer reading more than when this book was assigned. absolutely a must for the classical literature collection

Great adventure story.

I LOVE this book and one of the only reasons that I didn't do five stars was because there were some gruesome parts but other than that the book was awesome

I know that I read this book in high school, but coming back to it 50 years later, I see and hear the nuances of the story with greater appreciation. The way Jack London described the people and the dogs was truly mesmerizing. Glad I picked it up again.

Every Christmas I purchase a book to gift to my niece and nephew. Perfect for a middle school boy.

Reading this book now, at 73, I cannot say enjoyed it. This is not the book you enjoy, but I am so glad I reread it. I did tear up on a number of occasions, but the ending made me feel good.

Great book for kids! I got this book for my local children's library from their wish list. The kids are excited to read.

An absolute masterpiece

I read this book on line after being recommended by a friend. I loved it so much I bought the book. It is just beautiful. Even the ending, which could have been trite or really sad, was neither and it is just one of the most lovely reads ever. I thoroughly recommend it.

I like the writing-- very good. But the tale of suffering dogs is unbearable.
