Magicmend Pipe Extender

Had a 1.5" pipe break off at the elbow joint that was encased in concrete for our pool fountain, plumber water $500 to dig it all out and repair. This little part fit inside the broken pipe perfectly, sealed it all up then added a coupler to restore the line. Huge time and money saver.

This is a flow limiting 1 1/2" fitting it fits inside the pipe to extend it, not good.

Be careful if you buy this item. It is identified as as a 2.5 in pipe extender, intended to go inside a 2.5 inch pipe on one end with a molded slip coupling on the other end to extend the pipe. However, the molded in slip coupling is NOT 2.5 inches, but only 2 inches, which reduces the diameter of the original pipe. This would be better described as a pipe reducer rather than an extender. Very misleading. Not only that but the price of around $14 is ridiculously expensive for a PVC fitting. A similar item would normally run about $1. I do not recommend this item and hope the supplier creates a better, more suitable, description

Used these before. Very useful in pool plumbing repair.

This makes a connection when you don't have much pipe left. A small thing that can save a lot of work.

Awesome, will save you when you can easily change out a pipe.
