Magic Plastics 0301-20 2" Spigot Pool & Spa Magic Mend Inside Pipe Extender

I hate to give this a two-star review, but I guess that I'm going to. The outside diameter of the smaller end seems to be the same as standard 2" PVC. I don't know what size it will slip into, but it's definitely not 2 inch PVC. The inside diameter of the large end is also larger than two inches. Bottom line, if you are trying to use this with 2 inch PVC, it won't work.The seller needs to specify what the actual purpose of this item is. It might actually be great if I understood what it is used for.

Works.Some say it doesn't but it worked for me.Both ID and OD fittment was good. No problems.

I had a 1/4' of 2" PVC coming out of a bushing in the floor drain for a shower. I used this to extend that 1/4" up high enough to glue a 3 piece shower drain to it.

I had to redo some plumbing at the pool to accommodate the new chlorine generator and had to cut the existing pipe too close to the valve for a normal coupler. This adapter saved me the effort and cost of replacing the entire valve as it slid inside of the existing pipe.

Did the job

Don't waste your time , this part does NOT fit inside a standard sch 80 2 " pvc pipe, the small side is the same size as a 2" pvc pipe

Worked as I expected

This does NOT fit into or over 2''P.V.C. piping.It is way to big.
