The Body Shop Coconut Body Butter – Nourishing & Moisturizing Skincare for Very Dry Skin – Vegan – 6.4 Oz

I love a good body butter and the smell of this coconut body butter is amazing. When you first open the jar it is a little hard, but get a scoop and work it with your fingers. It quickly turns into something quite luxurious. I have found body butters you didn't have to do this with, but they cost a lot more and my skin feels just as soft and smooth after using this. I would recommend this to anyone who wants soft skin and loves the smell of coconut!

I remember using this product years ago when I wasn't concerned about what types of chemicals I was putting on my body. These days I'm making most all of my personal care products myself so I can control what is going into them... I came across a recipe that supposedly mimics the texture of this body butter, so I bought one to refresh my memory and see if it's something I'd like to make. It's sooooo nice! It's rich and luxurious, it moisturizes very well without leaving a greasy feeling and the texture reminds me of a cross between softened butter and coconut oil - not so stiff you can't apply it easily, but also solid enough that it needs to be in a tub rather than a regular lotion bottle. The coconut fragrance is pleasant. More of a natural coconut smell, rather than the super sweet/noticeably artificial ones I usually come across. The ingredients in this body butter are better than most, and Amazon has a great price on this of course... If you're looking for a non-greasy yet very moisturizing body butter I'd highly recommend this!

I’ve used the Body Shop coconut body butter for over ten years, and I couldn’t be happier that I found this product. It hydrates and protects without feeling greasy. The scent is not overpowering, and a little goes a long way. I’m only sorry to hear that The Body Shop is going out of business and will no longer sell a product I have grown to love!

This wonderful lotion glides on easily and has a great coconut smell. No more flaky skin and the lotion is not greasy. It's all absorbed. Great benefits all without animal testing. Everybody wins here.

I love coconut and this product it very coconuty. as a person with very dry skin, it moisturizes nicely but I feel other scents of the same brand moisturizes better than this. but it's worth it.

This is perfect to put on anytime, but i like to put it on right after a shower. It's very moisturizing and has a nice consistency- not too thick or too thin. My skin feels soft and I don't find myself having to constantly reapply to avoid dry skin. The scent is wonderful and lasts for a while. It's not overpowering and it goes well with the perfume I have, so I can layer different scents.

Okay, I am a guy and guys don't usually use stuff like this. I have had problems with scaly, dry skin on my heels and feet for years and my sister gave me a sample of this stuff to see if it would help with that condition. It worked pretty good for that. I also have a problem with toenail fungus under several toes, especially both big toes, so I thought - what the heck, I will try it on that too. I have tried everything else from hydrogen peroxide to essential oil of oregano and nothing seemed to work. After about 3 weeks, I noticed a big difference on my toenails, Instead of having dark areas under my toenails and dry skin around the edges, the dark areas started disappearing. Plus, the dry areas around the toenails started looking better and feeling like real skin. I ran out of what my sister gave me, so I bought another container of this for myself to continue treatment. It took a couple of months, but boy, you can really see the difference. My toenail fungus is disappearing and my toenails are looking more and more normal. Plus, the really dry and scaly skin on my heels and the bottom of my feet are almost normal.So, the bottom line is - this stuff works great for dry scaly skin on my feet - plus as a bonus, it is taking care of my toenail fungus. I just make sure that when I use it, I slather the stuff all around each toenail and work it into the skin around the edges and down into the toenails.
