it has been a long time able to have a long shower since I am uncable to stand for more than 5 minutes. This chair makes it easier to have a normal shower and wash my hair now.

I was impressed with everything about this bath chair. The molded pieces have threaded brass fittings that allow the legs and supports to be screwed to them accurately. The back has two clips that allow it to be quickly removed. Height is easily adjustable. Cross braces attach firmly. It just all fits well, and when you are done, you feel like you have a strong, waterproof chair that will be safe in the bathroom. The nuts have decorative plastic covers that don't seem to serve any purpose other than decoration. But this chair is exactly what I need right now, and I am totally pleased with the quality. After having this chair for a month, I note that the seat suddenly "pushed down" while I was taking a shower. I was sitting off center. Since then the "smile" starts to frown if I don't sit carefully centered. I'm still using it, I don't want to replace it, but I'm just not as happy with it. I verified that the claimed capacity for this chair is 500 lbs, I'm nowhere near that. The legs still seem very strong, but the bench needs to be a little stiffer. I believe that this sort of failure is due to skimping on material. If I could change my review, I'd drop between 1 and 2 stars.

I have a son with epilepsy (seizures) and he is 6ft 3 and 230 lbs. He had had a few seizures in tub. This chair has worked great for him and I. We use a shower wand and sit . It is very sturdy easy to assemble , holds around 500 max weight I think , dries well , water runs through seat. This is the second one , the first lasted for years. Try one , you will enjoy it.

Came damaged on front end. Bought for Bariatric patient who is well below weight limit and she sank into the seat. We got her up very quickly. The plastic seat very soft. Thought maybe just a defective seat so reached out to seller who asked for pictures. (Very reasonable request) then seller tried placing blame on us by saying it’s not the same chair they shipped and not same as shown on Amazon (which is ridiculous as it’s exactly the same and same as pictured. I would highly recommend not buying from this seller. This has been my personal experience.

This a great chair and very strong and I recommend it! It is the only chair that has lasted more than a couple of weeks of my wife's use. The pins that secure the legs look cheap but I have not had any problems with them yet. Some of the molding gates were left on the clamps also. You will have to spend some time putting it together. It took me about 45 minutes including reading the instructions. The only problem so far was water drainage. There are no holes in the feet of this chair. Therefore, the legs will hold water. I had to drill a hole in each foot for drainage. I also drilled a couple of holes at the lowest point on the plastic seat, the lowest point on the bottom of the plastic back and in the bottom of lower back support around the front clamp area. This fixed the drainage problem. There looks to be a steal disk on the inside of each foot that appears to be rusting. Therefore, I think the feet will need to be replaced eventually. The chair works well on slightly uneven bath tubs like mine also. Seat split after about 8 months. Tried to contact Econo Mobility for a warranty clam but after 3 phone calls, no return calls and a week I gave up. I will not order from this supplier again! Also Drive will only work with their suppliers. If buying a Drive product I would work with someone local.
