It looks a lot bigger than it is

This was not an expensive cake stand, three plain white plates and a central chrome post. Unfortunately the holes in the plates are too small and the centre post does not go through any of them. So I have three cheap plates with holes in and useless chrome rods. I am going to buy a round file to see if I can make the holes slightly bigger; failing that I will change my "posh" afternoon tea to a Greek evening and smash the sodding things!!!!

Lovely item, as described. A shame that instructions weren't clear as to where washers and padded washers went between the tiers but easy enough to work out yourself. Would recommend.

This was value for money & looked smart! I bought it for a birthday.
