Trying to upload photos sorry!
I was skeptical about these welders that suddenly turned up? My landscaper borrowed my wheelbarrow to move mountains of mulch across the street at my neighbors, when I love again it had a long split and they had tried to fix it, I didn't complain but used tp quality super glue and accelerator spray, no joy, then I used Gorilla 2 part epoxy, still it resplit. I peeled everything off, and nothing went below the surface of the plastic, so it just peeled, I scraped everything clean, and holding together the first joint I applied the first staple, the iron cools very quickly so you can safely load the next staple!!

Great for fixing plastic.
This thing is very cool. I had four lawn chairs I needed to replace because all four chairs were broken or creaked. So I saw this welding gun for plastic. I thought Id give it a try. This plastic welding gun fixed all four. I keep my four chairs and keep my $130

Great tool for a man to have
I welded brackets back on with us and not a single complaint. Tail lights are still holding up perfectly well and it saved me a lot of money without having to purchase new tail lights for my vehicle. If you know how to use it, the product is great and it’s quick to heat up. Can’t complain definitely a great product for the price.

it worked
I give it 5 stars. You can find the exact same kit under a dozen different brands on amazon. they dont even change the label on the side of it. It is a good unit. I fixed the bug deflector on my truck that was cracked at the screws on the bottom side of the hood. 80 dollars for a new deflector or use a couple staples. That plastic is very hard and this still melted into it and it did secure it nicely. It did take about a minute of holding it there. It says 50watts. I never once saw it hit 50 watts on a killawatt. most I ever saw was 29. but maybe the staple size has something to do with the resistance? I'm not an electrician. But that's why I took away one star. It is more than capable. But super hard plastic you might be surprised you got to hold it for a bit. Maybe that's a good thing as it slowly melts and gives you controlability. If it holds up long term I'll be happy. But just look around. You can view all of the other same ones from different companies as suggested items under this item. This one just had the most reviews and had an A grade with fake spot analayzing the reviews.

Works great
This has paid for itself already. Instead of having to replace items that were cracked and broken I was able to repair the plastic storage tubs and an adjustable weight dumbbell that would have easily cost me forty bucks! It works as described, I would recommend using it.

Saved my stroller
An uber driver broke the plastic piece on my stroller wheel in half and I could not figure out how to fix it. Apparently you can’t glue two plastic edges together. I finally found this and I think it’s going to hold up! It feels very strong. I’m so happy it worked. My only concern is the little metal pieces are impossible to cut down short, and they are very sharp.

It's a money saver!
With everything being made from plastic anymore, it's the perfect addition to any household. It's a money saver for sure, personally I have saved over $100 just fixing my cracked/broken refrigerator bins and shelves!
