Fine
When I bought a HD10plus I found it difficult to find a wireless charger designed for this size tablet. They were also expensive. I bought this device, attracted by a discount and I am happy with it. The tablet and the charging coils seem to find each other very easily.I also have a finite blue tooth keyboard and case. This creates a problem for the charger. It does not seem to work through the case. I have to take the tablet out of the case to charge, so not very convenient. I lately found if I turned the tablet in its case upside down, it will charge and I can leave the keyboard attached. It looks a bit silly, but it works. My bluetooth keyboard also needs charging seperately and that needs another charger. The accessories market for the HD10 does not really cover my requirements. This charging stand is fine for users who do not use the tablet with a keyboard and case.

Very good
Great charger does exactly what it’s supposed to do no complaints at all about its performance but it would have been a good idea if it folded up when not in use for easier storage.

Lovely piece of kit
This was perfect for my old mum, who can’t see or feel properly and managed to wreck the charging point of her kindle, twice, this enables her to simply place the device, and use it as a photo frame at the same time as charging, or a clock etc.I feel it could maybe improve if was intelligent enough not to over charge and also act as a battery conditioner?

Great charger with a few quirks and don’t get it for Show Mode
The charger works flawlessly in both landscape and portrait mode. It basically is a Qi wireless charger and can charge any enabled device. I have tested it with both an iPhone 12 and 13 Pro Max.Some things I’ve noticed…When using it with the Fire HD 10, I recommend that you put the tablet in with the speakers pointing down. This deflects the sound towards the user. Otherwise, the speakers fire up and away from the user. The sound is massively different depending on the orientation. If I plug the tablet into my PC using a USB cable while on this charger it kills the PC. I’m using a Surface Pro 3 and it causes the PC’s screen to go black and the device is rendered un responsive. I even struggle to force it off and on again.Show Mode is advertised as a sort of alternative to buying an echo Show. Place the Fire HD into this charger and have it automatically enter Show Mode. This works but be aware that not everything works as you would like or expect / need from a true echo device. My main issue is that while I can ask Alexa to play music, I can’t then ask her to do anything else with that playback. I use Spotify so this might be different with Amazon Music. Alexa voice commands can’t be used to stop playback or skip tracks. Also, playing music exits Show Mode so you would need to restart that once you are finished playing music. And while music is playing it will eventually timeout and shut the screen off. This means it goes black and locks. Without tap to wake, which the Fire doesn’t have, you have to press the power button to turn it on, swipe up, enter an unlock code if configured, to then get access to Spotify again. It basically makes Show Mode useless for me.

Great solution for wireless charging and show mode.
I've got used to charging devices wirelessly for some time now, so when the new Fire 10 Plus came out one of the main reasons for me to buy it was the built in wireless charging. It feels well made and sturdy. The tablet sits into the recess to hold it in place very nicely and the small white led in the centre at the bottom tells you it's charging so you instantly know its working. It's also nice that it comes with its own plug, although the cable needs to be longer, so you can still take the original charger with you anywhere. It's a convenient way to charge the tablet it's perfect. It's also grandly if you set the tablet to automatically go into show mode when docked. I use this to see the time, weather, any notifications and to answer and see who is at my Ring doorbell.Negative points. It is quite expensive for what it is. It's also not very portable. It's a fixed V shape that doesn't fold so is quite bulky and would put me off taking it anywhere. Compare that to the wireless dock I have for an older Fire HD 8, that used the wireless charging jacket, and that had a folding stand making it easy to fold flat and take with you. So it's not ideal for portability. You also can't adjust it's angle, so if you have it on the dock to use whilst cooking, watching a video or browsing you are stuck with the angle it provides. But if you are going to place the dock in one location and leave it there it is ideal and the best solution for the 10 Plus.

Works well as a charging base, less well in show mode
The charging dock works a treat as a charger. The reason it drops a star is because of didn't always work very well as an Alexa show. The one I Alexa show in my bedroom works much better than this. I have this one in the kitchen with a fire HD 10, intending to use it as a screen control with the echo for I have in there but it doesn't really work in the way I had intended and had gathered that it could.
