I've been using these fans for a few years now as quick relief from hot flashes. They're not terribly sturdy, but at the price, who can complain? I use the hook with a carabiner to hang it from my belt or purse — even my backpack. Women who recognize hot flashes have complimented me on my smarts and also on how pretty the floral designs are. Warning: Do take care not to catch them in a seatbelt or sit on them, as they will break.

Very nice fans for the price! I was in charge of decor for a virtual retirement party. We decorated the guest of honor’s space beforehand, so it would still seem like a “real” party. Her window was so pretty and the fans looked gorgeous as part of it! These are not high quality, silk, what I would consider “outfit” fans. They are amazing as decorations, though! Here’s the short of it: The fabric is pretty, satiny, semi-shiny, no sequins. There were some spines that were glued to the next fabric strip, and had to be carefully peeled apart, but only one or two spines on maybe 2 fans? The lace is not finished, so there are some fraying edges at the ends of the fan. A couple had the fabric cut a little short, so the end spine was half exposed. BUT, for decorations, these are perfect. I duct taped them open on the back, hung a strip of ivy from a wired flower that I stuck through the front of the fan, attached flowers to the ivy. There were 6 unique designs, so a few repeats, all very pretty “old fashioned” florals. The different fabrics complement each other well, and light shows through almost like a stained glass window when they are hung up. I finished the set up with fans, paper lanterns, flowers, and fascinator hats on the tables, and fascinator hats attached to the top of larger paper lanterns that were also hung. Made for a beautiful garden party themed retirement Celebration. The retiree was thrilled, and I got a lot of compliments on how well it set the mood, despite us being miles apart.
