Chemical Guys WAC20616 Slick Finish Cleaner Wax Light Paint Cleanser & Brilliant Shine Carnauba Wax, 16 fl oz

I used this product to wax a 2013 dark green Ford F-150 that had never been polished since I purchased it. As you can imagine, it had a lot of deep swirl marks, and honestly, I didn't expect a single product to get them all out. I was genuinely shocked by the results. It was able to remove about 70% of the swirl marks, which is absolutely excellent for an all-in-one application. Application was incredibly easy using my Dual Action buffer. The most surprising part was the time—it took me only about two hours to do the entire truck. Not only did it correct the paint, but it also left a very deep polish that truly made the dark green paint POP. Plus, it left a great coat of carnauba wax to prepare the truck perfectly for the winter months. This is a fantastic product for the price and for the convenience of combining correction and protection in one step. I plan to use this for a long time!

Worked great on my oxidized paint. Super easy one step product that left a pretty decent finish. I did follow up with a sealer type product after about two weeks. I used it with a dual action buffer with a 6" pad. My truck took little over an hour to complete.

Best sealing waxing product used so far. Shine lasts for days. Easy to put on, wait 15mins while you clean the rest of your car, then wipe off. If I gets in windows no biggie, comes right off. Took a long road trip right after I applied it and the car held its shine until its next wash. I’m sure it woudve held its shine even if I hadn’t washed and reapplied. Great product .

Does an OK job of cleaning the paint. After washing with Clean Slate, using a clay bar, using Iron-X, etc, I chose this product to remove water spots, and minor scratches and swirls. After trying this with several different pads, it only showed to do an alright job on cleaning up the paint - removing ~70% of the scratches and swirls, and ~90% of the water spots. However, it does leave a beautiful shine behind!

I have always been a fan Zymol cleaner wax but I've started switching some items to the C.G. lineup so I had to try this product. The product goes a long way especially using an orbital polisher. I used it to wax my Tundra and 4Runner and I still have over half the bottle left. Pair this with a nice foam applicator and you're set. Don't put a big glob in the middle of your applicator, a nice circle with an X through helps give maximum coverage. It is fairly lightweight so be careful if using a polisher, it may fling everywhere and get into all the seams of the door. I found doing the rubber stamp method all over the work area to thin it out is the least messy way to prevent buildup between panels. **Beware that in shipping the inner seal will probably open and a nice mess will be sitting around the plastic wrapping.

Better shine than any other product I’ve used.

I own a 2018 F-150 and I wash it by hand and am extremely careful where I park. Anal? Maybe. I take care of my vehicle. While I normally garage this truck I’ve had to keep it outside more the last couple months and water spots had developed on the hood. I washed it, used vinegar/water solution to try and neutralize the minerals left behind but the paint still had spots and I was disgusted. I tried waxing with some high quality 100% carnuba wax but still the spots remained and the paint looked dull in my opinion. I did some research and decided to try this. I know it says “mild abrasives” and I did not think my ‘18 hood needed too much correction. Didn’t want to go with the heavy duty water spot removal by chemical guys just yet so thought I’d give this a try. I applied this cleaner wax by hand, let it set for 15-20 mins and buffed off by hand with micro fiber cloth. It looks new again. Won’t remove rock chips (it’s not supposed to) but it got rid of the water spots and I am extremely happy with this product. If I can use it on my hood (trust me I baby this truck), you can feel comfortable using it on your almost new car. Totally satisfied customer here. Easy to apply and easy to wipe off (turn /fold your cloth often). I will be using this on the entire truck soon.
