I love these jars!! I cook a lot, and the side of my refrigerator is now covered in Gneiss Spice jars. They always look neat and tidy, but I can easily and quickly find my spices. No digging in cabinets or searching on high shelves! They were a little bit of an investment, but it was a one-time investment, and I would make it again for the convenience.I do recommend the large jars over the small ones. I have a few small jars for certain spices like saffron, but the large ones are generally much more useful. These can hold an entire standard-sized bottle of spices from the grocery store. The small ones can't even hold an entire half-size bottle of spices. Now that I have the jars, I've been purchasing spices in plastic packets and refilling my jars.The one small drawback is that the side of my refrigerator isn't a super strong magnet. If the jars are very full of a heavy spice, they may slide down the fridge. I've solved this problem with a few small super-strong magnets that I put underneath especially heavy jars. No big deal, and much easier than installing Gneiss Spice's steel plates!EDIT: I contacted Gneiss Spice directly about the sliding jars, and they immediately sent me extra magnets to install in the lids. None of my jars slide anymore! Since then, I've ordered more jars and continued to expand my spice collection. 12/10 for customer service and satisfaction!

I abhor my postage stamp-sized kitchen. Because it's so small, I am constantly looking for creative, space-saving ideas. I'd seen the DIY magnetic baby food jar spice rack idea and I even tried it, but that project turned out terribly. Then, I found the Gneiss Spice company and their line of magnetic spice jars. They certainly don't come cheap, but these babies are worth every penny to me. Not only are my spices accessible, but they're also completely out of my way when I'm not using them. I have freed a bunch of cabinet space, too! The magnets are super strong and even the fullest, heaviest jars don't slip a bit on the stainless steel plates. The lids tighten securely. The jars are threaded. The large jars hold the standard 2.5 oz and they look great. I purchased two sets of 24 size large jars. I did not purchase any small jars (I read that they hold only the smallest amount of spice). I also purchased two of this company's large (12"x15") stainless steel wall plates. I am so pleased with this set! 🙂

These spice jars are perfect! They are high quality and look awesome on my fridge. The magnets are very strong and the little clear labels that came with the jars are AMAZING. Literally every spice I can think of (and more) is on these labels, and there are two blank ones just in case.Based on some of the reviews, I was worried that I would have a problem with the magnets. One of the jars did in fact come with the magnet on backwards, so that the magnet was exposed to the spices, but I reached out to Beth (who was VERY friendly and helpful) and she directed me to simply flip the magnet around. I did that and now the one defective jar works perfectly. (Apparently something happens at the Amazon warehouse - it never happens with the orders Gneiss Spice ships directly - that once in a while causes the magnets to flip, but as I explained above, this can easily be fixed.)I really appreciated 1) Beth's quick service and 2) the superior quality of these spice jars. I was looking for something DIFFERENT and MODERN, and these jars from Gneiss Spice are exactly what I was looking for!

Okay so I bought a pack of 24 big (4oz) jars to see if I could make our spices easier to find and OMG. This set is beautiful and the little stickers that come with it are perfectly readable while still being understated. After realizing how much I love this, I bought another set (we have too many spices, like way too many spices, but we use all of them so oh well). It's coming tomorrow and I can't wait to finish the fridge.Oh, one quick note that I realized while setting these up, BE VERY CAREFUL TO SCREW THEM ON COMPLETELY AND DON'T TWIST THEM. I accidentally put one on the fridge halfway on and while trying to adjust it had an accident all over the floor. Not the product's fault, I just wasn't paying attention. But please do make sure the kids are on properly and this set is perfect!

For well over a year I have been struggling with a storage solution for my spice collection in my small kitchen. I had previously purchased pantry door shelves($20), cabinet edge shelves ($23.99 x2 sets), drawer organizers ($10), hanging spice clips ($10.x 2sets ) & had nothing ever satisfied me. I had given up hope until I came across this solution! I purchased the larger jars 24qty. They hold a normal jar of spices from the grocery store. I have them magnetized to my fridge. And, I like them so much I just ordered another 12 jars. Jars stay secure and they are displayed in a pretty bee hive shape. However, when I need to grab a spice I have to shuffle the spices around to reach the one I need. But that's a small inconvenience for the brilliant storage solution. It is a pretty simple idea, expensive for what it is, however that didn't keep me from ordering again!

Today I unboxed, washed, and filled my Gneiss spice jars. I am so happy with them! I washed them in the dishwasher without any troubles. I baked them in the oven to be sure there was no moisture left and had no troubles. They were easy to fill and they attach strongly to the side of my refrigerator. They look BEAUTIFUL.After receiving my set of Gneiss spice jars, I have purchased another set to give to my daughter-in-law for Christmas.
