Review of book
Very comprehensive and well written. No spelling or grammatical errors so far which leads me to believe the content is well researched.

Fewer Countries per Book is the Way to Go
I love lonely planet guides. But I have to echo a few reviews I read. The nature of the book gives such little information on any one location. It was hard to use on my trip. Additionally, some of the information doesn't convey enough detail. Like how I missed out on touring Schindle's Factory because I didn't book a ticket before I got there. I only had 3 weeks before I went, so even that might not have been enough time...the salt mine tour in Krakow was also A let down for me and my travel companions...but we heard so many good things. Additionally, prices because of inflation have shot up especially in Czech, Poland, and Hungary.

What is there to know- too many places covered instead of indepth tidbits
This wasnt worth the purchase. You can google this stuff. Somehow LP has lost their ability to make a useful guide.

To general
By covering too many countries none of them are dealt with in any depth. The choices made of the places mentioned are highly subjective.

Could they have been any cheaper?
The book will be adequate for the trip I'm taking to Bulgaria, Serbia, and Romania in September, but I'm very annoyed with its size. It only measures 8" X 5," and the print is small enough that I have to use my reading glasses every time I look at it. I'll continue to read their articles online but will never buy another guide book.

Only a few pages per country
I wanted something to tour Bulgaria and the LP guide was out of date. This was not much use as it covers so much of Eastern Europe it doesn’t cover anywhere in depth. I suppose if your trying to cover a lot of ground, this is the book for you

Only a third of what was covered in previous editions
This edition really lacks much of what was covered in other editions. Usually they come in at around 900+ pages, this one is a paltry 500. Many cities are missed, and others just have a sentence or two written about them. Save your money, get one of the earlier editions.

Bem compacto
Eu já tinha a versão em português de 2014 e após a pandemia senti a necessidade de me atualizar tendo em vista hostels e restaurantes que não estavam mais em funcionamento. Resolvi arriscar e me atualizar.

Insufficient coverage
This book is far shorter than previous editions with the result that there is insufficient content to be of value for overland travelers. Not enough places, not enough detail. I have bought many LP country & area books in the past & not had that problemVery disappointed especially as I bought the West Europe guidebook at the same time as well & that has exactly the same problem. These books are far away from the founders ideal. I don't have the confidence that all 'must sees' are even listed, never mind described
