It's Pepto that goes through airport security, fits in all your bags, never makes a mess, and does its job. Yes, the chewable flavor is poor, but in all other ways, it is a great product. I highly recommend it for anyone traveling, the convenience is well worth the higher cost per dose over the liquid, or caplets. Each chewable is sealed, so they are easy to transport, lasts well, and are convient.

Was advised to buy these for my trip to Bali, Indonesia (there seems to be no laws regarding food prep cleanliness there, or much regard for that matter). Not once did I feel quelled to poop. Sphincter control was perfect! That and when I wanted to poop later, I had perfect control! Now as for how effective the Pepto was? We were even going to hashtag #peptobismol with all our meals on Instagram (we didn't, but we did #pocari and #pocarisweat). Wish the Pepto had better flavors though (aside from the ones I see). But if you want to control that rear hole and not be worried eating foreign foods, buy it. 1-2 pills per meal. Thank me later.

Just took 2 tablets. It does not taste at all like the ones I’ve been purchasing from the stores. It gives the smell, and tastes as if you are consuming some kind of cleaning solution! I honestly regret I didn’t spit it out after I thought something may be wrong. On the package, it says this was made in Mexico. I have nothing against anything made in other countries. I’m just letting other buyers know that something is wrong with what I received, and I’m not feeling well now. :/

Pepto has been for many years one of the most useful items in my medicine cabinet. I use it mostly for heartburn, in preference to the popular antacids (Tums, Rolaids etc., which are almost all calcium unbalanced by any magnesium) and to the proton pump inhibitors like Prilosec, whose long-term effects are worrisome. This amazing remedy, around as tablets or a liquid since 1901(!), will also relieve fullness due to over-indulgence, nausea, gas, and diarrhea. Unlike cheap knockoffs, its packaging affords easy access to the individual tablets. (Avoid the Cherry version Pepto-Bismol Cherry Chewables 5 Symptom Relief, Including Upset Stomach & Diarrhea 48 Count , which will stain your pillowcases and face towels.)

Liked the flavor and the value was so much cheaper than the local stores

This is good for basic mystery stomach upsets. Kind of a jack of all trades. I do find that antacids work better for heart burn and gas x works better for gas. Imodium for diarrhea. But pepto helps with everything if you don't want to take a bunch of pills. Also, it has to be pepto, not some generic. The generic tastes so bad! I prefer the chewable over the liquid because i can take it everywhere.

The package went from 48 to 30 tablets but it otherwise is the same, The tablets are more convenient than the liquid for occasional use. Jim Update September 14, 2016 I have noticed that the formulation seems to be different, less crumbly than it used to be. Raised rating to five stars.. Jim
